Now that Jasmine was absent due to something urgent, Link had to step in.
"Do you even remember our branch exists?"
Sandra wasn't going to be silenced by Link so easily; she was going to make her complaints regardless. "I thought you'd completely forgotten about us? Or perhaps you never really cared about our branch?"
"What? Not at all!"
Link chuckled uncomfortably and explained, "It's just that I've been quite busy recently and could not split my attention."
"Really?"
Exasperation was evident in Sandra's tone as she sneered, "I don't care about the past, but what about these past three days? You had time to visit the Fairy World daily but didn't have time to visit our branch once? While Jasmine, despite being engrossed in her laboratory, still managed to visit us a few times. And you? Not a single word of concern."
Really, there was nothing much Link could do about his shortcomings.
He could only stay silent and listen attentively.
