There was something amiss to Beatrix Sprin when they arrived at the location.
The forest seemed rather dangerous, everything about it triggered her [Dangersense] and yet the manor that was on top of the hill seemed welcoming.
A soft glow was visible from afar, like a homey space that offered a place to rest and rejuvenate.
"I knew that folks lived here." the old adventurer said as he rubbed his nose. "Strange folks for sure, but folks all the same."
"Come now, Old Man Roe. We haven't even met them yet."
"Ah, it's a shame that these trees don't seem to be the same species described in Eldes Woods." the adventurer with glasses sighed. He touched a bark and murmured "They all seem to be alive."
"All plants are alive–sentient is what you mean. Might not want to touch that if I were you!" a voice said from a distance.
