Feeling someone tugging at his arm, Chen Fan opened his eyes with a trace of impatience.

The next moment, the scene before him made him freeze in astonishment...

This was a huge square.

The square was packed with people causing a noisy chaos that was intense and disturbing. Some people were panicking, others were yelling and screaming.

What was strange was that everyone's age seemed to be between eighteen to twenty-seven or twenty-eight.

No elderly.

No children.

All these people were surrounded by a dark, sinister mist at the center of the square!

No one knew what was outside the mist.

Apart from the dense crowd on the square, all they could see was a fifty-meter-tall light column in the center.

The light column emitted a soft white light, illuminating the entire square.

But the white light couldn't penetrate the mist around the square.

All of this felt eerie and unreal.

Just then, the sun rose, and the mist suddenly began to dissipate quickly.

Before the crowd could rejoice, the scene revealed by the receding mist utterly stunned them...

There, in the four directions of the square—east, south, west, north—stood gigantic and frightening monsters, previously hidden by the dense fog!

A twenty-meter-tall Black Ape with a menacing glare;

A giant red Ant, spewing flames from its mouth;

A tiger with two horns and a tail like a Meteor Hammer, slowly swinging its tail, smashing pits into the ground;

And a creature like a Mammoth, a blue bull lying on the ground as if asleep, but every exhale stirred up a Gale!

Each of these four monsters was massive and exuded a menacing aura, scaring people into retreating continuously!

And upon the back or shoulder of each monster stood a person.

Three men and one woman.

None of them looked very old, seemingly in their twenties, clad in Battle Armor and carrying swords on their backs, each with a commanding presence.

Especially the woman on the shoulder of the Black Ape...

That woman, around 1.77 meters tall, wore Battle Armor that revealed her long, straight, and fair legs—an alluring sight that easily distracted onlookers.

But under these circumstances, no one dared to stare at her.

After all, the Black Ape was just too intimidating.

Moreover...

At the edges of the square, there were oddly-shaped armored tanks, and... rows of Armor-clad, armed soldiers!

Dark gun muzzles aimed at the crowded masses...

The people in the square immediately felt a chill run down their spine!

"What the fuck is going on? Alien invasion?"

A muscle-bound man about twenty-five or twenty-six couldn't help but swear aloud.

Some were ecstatic, some crying.

Some were expressionless, some were in utter panic.

But everyone's voice was suppressed.

After all, four terrifying monsters surrounded them, along with dark gun muzzles.

No one dared to make noise under these circumstances.

Chen Fan was no different.

Eighteen and appearing calm as an old dog on the outside, he was secretly panicking.

Despite growing up in an Orphanage and facing hardships, he couldn't help but feel nervous in such an eerie situation.

Suddenly...

"Roar!"

The twenty-meter-tall Black Ape let out a thunderous roar.

The roar echoed to the heavens!

Many felt their eardrums ache from the sound!

The entire square fell silent at once!

Snowy, the Ragdoll Cat that Chen Fan was holding, was also frightened, burying its head deep into Chen Fan's embrace.

"Don't be scared, don't be scared, I'm here!"

Chen Fan hurriedly soothed.

At that moment, the woman standing on the shoulder of the Black Ape nodded in satisfaction, raised her hand, and gently waved.

Above the void, a Light Screen appeared out of nowhere.

On the Light Screen, rows of Chinese characters slowly materialized...

People immediately crowded together, moving closer to the screen to get a clearer view.

Chen Fan moved forward with the tide of people and began to read the text on the Light Screen quickly.
