Prologue

"They say you only live once so live your life to the fullest but I said how can I live the way I want if I do not get what I want?"

Faye Nicole Lopez Chua, that's my name, a typical woman who loves the color white, but I'm not like other women who like fancy things. I'm just a simple girl, white t-shirt, pants and a pair of white high cut shoes are okay with me my long brown hair is also often tied up. I am a half breed alien just kidding I mean my mother is from the Philippines so I am half Filipino while my father is a pure blood Chinese so I am also half Chinese. But until now that I am 24years old I still do not know or even see my father in the picture. Uncle Eric who is my mother's older brother who helped us financially said that my father left us while my mom was still pregnant with me.

I have many questions in my mind why my father left us but I could not ask my mother because I do not want her to think she is not enough for me. I came to the point where I forgot about my father but one day a man came to our house and introduced himself as Vien Qin I thought he is my father but I was wrong he is just my father's lawyer. He told us that my father had passed away at that time I did not know how my emotions would be if I was sad because I did not even see my father even in the last moments of his life, or it would be fun because finally my mom and I would not suffer anymore because my father bequeathed us his assets.

At first my mother did not want to accept the papers saying that we are now the owners of the businesses as well as my father's house and land but she thought it would be big help for my future so she accepted it. A few days later we moved to my father's house and we were surprised because it's not just a simple house it was a mansion is a bit old and looks a bit scary too but its okay because the important thing is that we will not pay monthly rent.

While my mother and I were moving our belongings I felt tired so I went to my room to lie down on my soft bed but I did not realize that I had fallen asleep and I woke up suddenly because there was cold breeze that touched me. So I got up immediately to go to my mother because she might be looking for me but when I opened the door I was surprised by what I saw.

"What the?!"

"Where am I?."

"Miss, are you lost? Do you want to come with me? "

"Mo---Monster !!!!!"

"Monster???"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...."

"If it was a dream, I hope someone would have woken me up because I was tired of running!"

"Wait, if this is a dream why am I tired? Aren't dreams not real? "

"MA!!!!! Where are you??? Why is it like this here??? Why are there so many monsters..."As I ran after the one who was looked like a half dog and a half human I saw more and more strange creatures and even the book here was like flying birds. I don't really know what is going on anymore I need to wake up if it's a dream. Because I'm running out of breath but thanks God that I found my inhaler in my pants pocket as well as my phone. So when I saw an alley I turned right away to hide there and rest first.

I leaned against the wall and hid so that I could not be seen by the weird creature that chased after me. I also used an inhaler because I was so tired and I also took my phone to call my mom but there was no signal in the place where I was "Tsk...why no signal in this area? Where am I really? How can I go home? "

"Hey! Who are you? And what are you doing here? "

I was surprised because suddenly someone spoke so I searched for the voice but I did not see "I'm here above you." That's what voice said so I looked up and saw a man he was a normal and not a monster or any other strange creature that I saw on the road earlier while I was running. But his attire is unique he is like a detective in movies with a white shirt inside and wearing a black suit that stretches to the back of the knee and a hat that covered his face. I was surprised when he came down because the speed was like one blink of an eye which is now approaching me.

"That's the woman!" Someone said then I saw half a dog and a half human who chased after me earlier with two of his kind now. I need to escape here because those people are also approaching me but its dead end I have no place to run then I saw a piece of wood that can be used as a defense. "Do not come near me if you do not want to be hurt." But the three weirdoes just laughed at me and I notice one thing why they did not seem to see the man who looked like a detective who was also approaching me at that time.
