The story begins with an executed plot to kidnap a seemingly successful drug dealer, C Murder, is tracked and taken for ransom in the hood streets of Indianapolis, IN. His wife is contacted with a set of instructions from her husband that included her not involving the police. Well... Myisha did involve the police and C Murder was killed. Assigned to the case, local Homicide Detective Charles Martin and his team uncover an active urban war between two of the city's biggest, most blood thirsty hoods.

The reader gets to literally feel the weighted pressure of AB's loyalty and his pursuit of revenge as he goes after the hood responsible for the death of his thug. The story is packed with all sorts of plots and scenarios, introducing its urban student to more victims, witnesses, and crooked law enforcement to keep them glued to the pages.
