Darkseid (Part 1)

"Oh, I need to make a phone call." As he took his phone out, they walked out of the Bar.

"Why are you calling so late."

"Hey, do you remember the invasion I was talking about?"

"Yeah."

"So, it's about to start soon."

"I need to get everyone inside while the three of them will be in charge of protecting you. I have something to take care of. Then I will return"

"Alright!"

"So, what now?" Kassandra asked.

"We can continue to hang out as I don't precisely know when or where they are going to start. So went to go check a movie?"

"What do you think?" Alex said as Let go of an arrow hitting a parademon in the eyes, killing it.

Well, this has exceeded my expectations, and that big guy he seems powerful." She answered all the while killing any parademon that got too close to them.

Hahaha, What about we taste his strength ourselves but first we need to introduce ourselves to our friends down there." he said while looking down at the group as Green Lantern came flying to them.

"You guys, okay?" Green Lantern asked as he flew down.

"Good. Listen up...uh…" clearing his throat, he realized he didn't have a plan. "We need to, uh… We need to play offense instead of all coming up to bat."

"Um, what?" The flash asks.

"I apologize, but I don't know your games." Wonder woman said.

"I think what Lantern is saying is that it's time for some teamwork. So let's pull it together." Cyborg explained.

"Yeah, baby, clap it up," Shazam said excitedly as he put his hand in the middle only to realize that everyone was staring at him.

"What is the plan, then?" The flash asks.

"Well, he blasted those beams out of his eyes, right?"

"It's settled, then. We blind him." Wonder woman said as she unsheathed her sword when she waved it around.

That's as good a plan as any. Green Lantern said as he looked at Cyborg for confirmation. "Yeah, we follow, and we stay out of sight. I'll turn on the fireworks to get his attention. Princess, you get in striking distance and stab that son of a bitch in the eyes."

"Like poor damned Oedipus." Wonder woman said.

"Yeah, what the hot Greek chick said," Shazam said.

"And the invasion of monsters raining from the sky, what about them?." The flash asks.

"I might be able to send them back where they came from," Cyborg answered.

"Good enough for me."

"Here we go, team, we got this." But before he could fly off, they all suddenly heard somebody laughing.

As they all look in the middle of the group were the discover Alex seated on the ground, leg crossed.

"Hahaha, you guys really half-assed a plan to defeat a god."

"Who are you?" Green Lantern asks as he pointed his ring at Alex fallow by Cyborg cannot Wonder woman sword and lightning flowing around Shazam and The Flash.

"Oh, no need to get excited, today we are on the same team."

"Who are you?" Wonder woman yells as her sword now touches Alex's neck.

Haha, Alex laughed as he got up. Suddenly his armor changed, turning to the immortal armor set, which only alarmed the hero more. "They call me Creed."

"Never heard of you," Shazam said.

"I don't go around yelling my name, plus I act more as an assassin."

"Why are you here?"

"Luckily for you guys, you got me on your side. To be truthful, you guys plan is alright. It could have worked against other people but not against a god such a Darkseid; this won't stop him. So I am here to help out."

What do you mean it won't stop him

"Yes, he will stop shooting lasers, but making him blind will only enrage him."

"So, who do you plan to stop him?"

"Oh, can blind him and fight him as long as you guys want. I just need you guys to take care of the Parademons.

"That laughable, you think you can take him by yourself."

"If you doubt my ability, just remember that I sneak up in the middle of your group."

"That just some weird skill."

"Do you think I don't know the limit of my skill or power, unlike that man child and Mr. broke my arm because of my arrogance." He said, pointing at Shazam and Green Lantern

"You…!!" Green Lantern yells in anger.

"Do you want to test my skill, princess?"

"Very well," Wonder woman said as she made a sign to tell everyone to move back.

Jumping a few feet back, she took a pose.

"Let's see how I compare with a demigod. Everything in one move." Alex said as he took his sword out.

She nobbed.

As they stare each other down the second, then suddenly, with the ground under her feet break, she dashes toward Alex.

Everyone watched as she was getting closer to him, but he still wasn't moving. But just when she was about to bring her sword down, he chuckled, and with a shock wave, Wonder Woman was sent flying back, colliding with a building. Spartan Kick.
