ASOIAF Original Characters Stories

In the year 68 AC Alaric Stark Remarried a mountain clansmen women Galadriel of the wolfswoods. Unfortunately both Alaric Stark and Galadriel Stark had a short marriage with both of them dying only 4 to 5 years of their marriage.

In the year 72 AC Galadriel through numerous opportunities that unfortunately failed until it was announced that Galadriel in the 7th moon was pregnant with a child of house stark. Unfortunately Alaric Stark would never get to see his Third and last child as he died in the winter of 72 AC. Making Galadriel a widow and also passed in the birth bed when she gave birth to Thorin Stark in the 3rd moon of 73 AC.

In 73 AC there was many debates in the North about who should be the future Lord Stark. It was decide by "The Conciliator" King Jaehaerys the 4th king of Westeros that Alaric Stark Grandson Edric Stark should rule the North as he was the eldest and that there would be many problems if the north has to wait 14 more years for a Lord Paramount even if Edric Stark was in regency till Thorin Stark grew of age.

In 84 AC when the future Lord Stark Benjen Stark was born. The 10 and 1 namedays Thorin Stark was said to be a prodigy in martial prowess may it be sword and lance, bow and arrow and Spear and shield. But many were restless as in the 10th moon of 84 AC Thorin Stark was Knighted by Ryam Redwyne in a tourney. The tourney was hosted by the 4th king Jaehaerys Targaryen and the king announced Princess Alyssa's pregnancy with Aegon that was born two weeks after the tourney. In the tourney Thorin Stark as a mystery knight of the laughing tree showed just how skilled at battle and as a knight he was in the tourney. Thorin won in the Archery Contest and Came 2nd place in the joust against Ser Ryam Redwyne in the finals and was a finalist in the Melee's tournament. At the end Thorin Stark was uncovered as the mystery knight and was knighted by Ryam Redwyne. Unfortunately for house Targaryen Princess Alyssa's labors went horribly and she died giving birth to the sickly Aegon third son of Baelon the bold and Alyssa Targaryen.

In the year 92 AC Robin Shaw was killed along with Prince Aemon by the Myrish Exiles' army and after the battle Thorin Stark by Recommendation of Ser Ryam Redwyne the Lord Commander of the Kingsgaurd was appointed. And during his short appointment it was determined he was the greatest man at arms in the realm. in a tourney when most of the Kingsgaurd joined a tourney and King Jaehaerys watched as Ser Thorin Stark had won all three tournaments where it be Jousting, Melee's, and Archery he was the most disputed winner easily beating many skilled knights in the tourney like the Lord Commander, Harold Westerling, Clement Crabb.

In the year 93 AC he was present during Prince Viserys wedding to Aemma Arryn. And he was also appointed to train the 10 and 2 namedays Prince Daemon by King Jaehaerys as a favor by him.

It was said that Ser Thorin Stark may be one of the most skilled knight in the seven kingdoms and those rumors were true but even the most skilled men have their faults. Many of those who are skilled may never pass on those skills as because they were natural talent and they never needed much instructions. An example is Ser Thorin as his training is based on instinct but it seems the Prince Daemon is having trouble learning from the Ser. "Prince Daemon if I may?" The Prince gave me leave to speak my mind with a nod. "It would be best to try to imitate and adapt Ser Thorins instructions in your mind as he a prodigy is very bad at teaching his style of swordsmanship." With Ser Thorin, Prince Daemon perhaps may become a very dangerous swordsman.

In the year 94 AC Ser Thorin Stark was the one to escort Prince Viserys to Balerion the Black Dread both Viserys and Balerions last ride around the Blackwater Bay. And Ser Thorin won all the tournaments in a tourney at kinglanding hosted by King Jaehaerys.

In 96 AC Ser Thorin was the one to announce the death of Princess Maegelle Targaryen.

In 98 AC during the Great Tourney to celebrate the 50th year of King Jaehaerys reign Ser Thorin Stark won the Joust, Melee's and the Archery. And was dubbed officially the Best Swordsman in the realm.

In 99 AC King Jaehaerys named Ser Thorin Stark Lord Commander till Ser Ryam Redwyne was relieved of his duties as Hand of the King.

100 AC "The Conciliator" reappointed Ser Ryam as Lord Commander and Ser Thorin Stark went back to his previous position but many smallfolk and knight belived Ser Thorin Should've stayed The Lord Commander as Ser Ryam was advancing in age. But Ser Thorin's Loyalty to the King, gracefully reaccepted his former position.

101 AC Ser Thorin was appointed as Second in Command of the Kingsgaurd after many debates in the Small Council.

During the great council when Ser Thorin was appointed to watch over King Jaehaerys he was asked by the king which would he chose in the great council. Ser Thorin believed that while Princess Rhaenys may have more talent in politics unfortunately will not be accepted by many southern lords as many are misogynistic. His thoughts on Prince Viserys appointment as king wasn't any better than his thoughts on Rhaenys as he said to the king "Hard times creates strong men, strong men create peaceful times, peaceful times create weak men and weak men create hard times." And said that the king created the greatest peace time in the realm but because Prince Viserys was born in peaceful times he will be weak willed and that he hopes Prince Viserys can fend off the vipers that will most likely be in his court.

In 103 AC when king Jaehaerys died it was Ser Thorin Stark again to announce to the realm that the greatest king the realm will ever have is no more as he died in his sleep.

I'm 104 AC King Viserys appointed Ser Thorin as Princess Rheanyra's sworn shield as he believes that nobody would ever think of harming her if the greatest knight in the realm were near her at most times. It was because of that appointment he didn't participate in the tourney to celebrate the kings ascension. Many believed that of Ser Thorin were to participate it would be a boring competition as it was a fact by many he would've won the tourney even if The "Rouge" Prince and Criston Cole a upcoming knight were to both take on the Second in command of the Kingsgaurd.

In 105 AC Queen Aemma died during her labors and Prince Daemon was exiled from kingslanding after rumors he had made a mockery of the late Baby Prince Baelon's Death after a day of life dubbing the babe "Heir for a day". the lord commander of the Kingsgaurd passed away in his sleep. Many in court believed Ser Thorin was to succeed him, but were shocked when Ser Thorin voted for Ser Harrold Westerling to be Lord Commander and with his advice to Princess Rhaenyra appointed Ser Cristin Cole as a kingsgaurd to replace Ser Ryam Redwyne. And was the one to announce over a hundred lords their entrance during Princess Rhaenyra's appointment as Princess of dragonstone. And he was with Ser Criston and the Hand of the King Otto Hightower when they confronted Prince Daemon about his taking over dragonstone when he wasn't the crowned Prince . It was heard by the soldiers on both sides that Prince daemon and I quote "the only reason I don't cut the many of you cunts in half with dark sister is because Ser Thorin is with you right now, as I'd know that he'd cut me down before my dragon can breath fire."

In 106 AC Princess Rhaenyra was appointed a new sworn shield Ser Criston Cole of the Kingsgaurd and Ser Thorin was able to focus more on his role as second in command of the Kingsgaurd. And then by Orders of King Viserys by council of the Hand of the King Otto Hightower to join Prince Daemon and Corlys Velaryon in their conquest of the stepstones to protect Daemon. It was recorded by many accounts that Ser Thorin Stark had killed hundreds pirates during the conquest that he bloodied his white cloak that many called him the "Bloody Cloak of the Kingsgaurd" and Ser Thorin was the one to crown Prince Daemon king of the narrow sea by order of Corlys Velaryon at the end of the war. And he was ordered to go back to kings landing to inform of the victory over the stepstones.

In 111 AC the 5th year anniversary of the marriage of King Viserys tourney began. Ser Thorin had opted to back out of the tournament as he'd already had fame from many previous tourneys. Ser Criston Cole had unhorsed all the green factions champions. Prince Daemon showed up at the tourney and kneeled to offer the true king his crown over the stepstones and Prince daemon was accepted back in court. But was forcibly exiled by the king to runestone over rumors he had taken the kings heir Princess Rheanyra's Maiden head.

120 AC also known as "The Year of the Red Spring" as many deaths and accidents accrued this year. With the deaths of Laena and Laenor Velaryon. Ser Harwin and Lyonel Strong in a fire at Harrenhal. And there was a fight during Laena's funeral as Aemond in a successful attempt at claiming Vhager who's former rider was Laena. Aemond had lost an eye that night it was said to be first blood between the Blacks and the Greens and it would be a core reason for the dance. When Prince Daemon and Princess Rheanyra married later in the years it seemed that Ser Thorin Disaproved of the marriage but did not speak of it.

127 AC nothing major had happened, maelor's birth from heleana and Aegon II was an event and Ser Thorin had aged to 54 that year.

In the year 128 AC King Viserys health had deteriorated so badly he wasn't able to climb the steps of the Iron Throne. And the Kingsgaurd had to carry him in a chair so he can atleast travel the red keep.

129 AC was said to be the start of the Dance as Kings Viserys had passed away of his illness and both first born children Aegon and Rheanyra claimed their fathers crown. Ser Thorin Stark was in the Red Keep when the greens were taking over kingslanding. When Otto Hightower Ordered Ser Thorin to pledge his loyalty to Aegon the Second he said "I will not kneel to a boy playing at king and is controlled by his grandfather" and it was then Otto Hightower ordered those who pledge loyalty to Aegon II to kill him as he was a danger to Aegon II. Ser Thorin killed over a 300 Knights just to get out of kingslanding. And he had taken Ser Arryk Cargyl's left hand, Ser Criston's right eye, Ser Rickard's pinky and ring fingers on his right hand and Ser Willas Fell's body had multiple stab wounds and cuts on his body and was closest to death after a quick battle between the Kingsgaurds in the throne room. Ser Thorin traveled to dragonstone to pledge his loyalty to the true Queen Rhaenyra. When he made it to Rhaenyra's court many were suspicious but did not draw their swords on him as they feared they would have to confront him. Prince Daemon was the only one to draw his sword on him at the bridge into dragon stones gate. Queen Rheanyra questioned him of his loyalties and Ser Thorin Kneeled and presented his sword and vowed. "All hail Queen Rheanyra First of her name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, lady of the seven kingdoms and protector of the realm." It was said that Queen Rheanyra at that point believed she had one of the most powerful weapons in the realm at the time as now Thorin Stark Of The Kingsgaurd the most legendary figure in the realm and gave her his loyalty.
