The Uncrowned King

Kai made a strict schedule for the twins, Ye Ling just needs to nourish herself and the fetus. She has medicinal baths that will massage and strengthen her weak muscles and cleanse her skin. The medicine is gentle and designed for weak pregnant women.

There are three types of medicine she takes orally. The one for the baby, the one for her nourishment and the one for both mother and child. Kai is hoping she makes out of the delivery room alive. It won't be long before she gives birth anyways.

He asked two female doctors who used to be army doctors from his group of recruits in his pace to come and help her with the process. They were happy to help her especially after they saw her condition of malnourishment and obvious signs of abuse on her body. Bleeding hearts.

The other twin has a very harsh medicinal bath. It is a painful process he grit his teeth everytime he takes it. Kai is not soft on him. If he is to survive the formless chip he needs to build tolerance for pain.

His medication is for the marrow cleansing which is a very painful process. Everytime he is about to pass out, Kai smacks him back to consciousness. The boy is tuff, Kai will admit but it is still fun to mess with him.

Then there is the body refinement cultivation technique that his invisible helper gave him. In truth, when Kai recruited 35 slaves, he received a book shelf with many cultivation manuals and a few crystals to check for spirit root type.

Kai had checked Ye Lang if he has a spirit root but he doesn't so Kai is making him practice a body cultivation technique that is not easy on the body but his body is a little bit stronger everytime he finishes a session.

Kai did not forget to make several trips to the city to obtain the electricity wires he needs to bring electricity into his space castle. The process of installing tiles requires the use of machines which operate on electricity.

This is why he makes several rounds to the city almost every day. He also buys whatever he can get his hands on, each time using a different disguise. He didn't realize he also likes acting, and it appears his robots are not the only talent in this family.

Wang Yan came along with his son to ask something of Kai. When Kai heard what they want, he became shocked. But then he remembered who he is talking to, the shameless family. Then he thought the only thing that should surprise him is that it took them this long to make this demand.

"I threw them in the ocean. You didn't expect me to hire large trucks and transport them back here did you?" Kai blinked. How stupit are these people? Or is it him they comsider stupit, to expect him to jist hand over something this valuable to them just because they asked.

"Kai, this is serious. Our family's survival depends on it." Wang Yan shouted with bulging veins on his eyes. He is in turmoil after finding out what is really happening out there. The only way to secure a safe place fir his family is if he doesn't lose his status amongst the nobles in this city.

"I am sorry but the thing I used to transport them could only hold them for 5 minutes at most. I had to get rid of it too so that I wouldn't be implicated." Kai said in a serious tone.

"Kai, the world is going to be hell on earth soon and whomever has more supplies will be in charge. If we lack supplies we will be the bottom feeders. Is that what you want? For us to be at the bottom of the food chain?" Wang Yan doesn't trust Kai's words.

This boy is too calculating to just throw away anything that valuable.

"Mr. Wang, I am sure your family will survive whatever it is that has you so scared you would stoop to asking things I stole from your biggest rival family. Besides, you must still have some connections, get a few thugs to break into the factories and store the canned food from there. The food that I took at that time was mostly fresh stuff. Even if I stored it somewhere it would have gone bad by now." Kai reasoned. He is not the least bit intimidated by the two tall men in his living room.

"I hope you're telling the truth and not just trying to send us off." Wang chen finally spoke sharply. Kai didn't care about him and whether he believes him. Those stolen good are rightfully his.

"Now that you know about that, can you please leave?" Kai showed a fake smile.

"Kai.." Wang Chen seems to be uneasy with receiving such cold treatment from Kai who used to admire and be jealous of him all the time when they met before.

"There is one more thing I need your help with. Can you please cure my wife? I am begging you son, I know we have disappointed you in the past but just this once please help me out." Wang Yan's tone softened now.

"I am sorry but I don't have an antidote, nor do I know how to make it." He said apologetically. He needs them to believe him so that they will leave him alone.

"Kai..." Wang Yan became furious but Wang Chen pulled him towards the door. They left like that. Kai is not lying about not having the antidote.

The Wang father and son are anxious because more and more zombie like creatures are appearing outside, it has even reached the ears of minor powerful families like them. At the moment, most of these families are hording supplies and soon non will be left for them.

Wang Che is even planning on getting his sister out prison with both legal and illegal means. No matter what, she needs to come back with all the materials in her magic space.

Kai has been ordering large stocks of furniture, curtains, floor carpets, paints and every day tools for his castle but was asked to pay in supplies instead. This has happened on every transaction he has conducted in the last weeks after coming back with the twins.

Kai doesn't mind this because the has tons of supplies that he can use and still be filthy rich. As a result, his castle is now appealing to look at.

Time went by and the progress continued. Kai went back into his space and found the inside of his castle in an excellent condition. The previously dull walls are adorned with tiles making it look very pleasing and clean.

There are many rooms in the castle and his people are done inserting the tiles, windows and door frames. Some robots are working on installing the doors, furniture and the electronics such as stoves, washing machines, lights, and air conditioners.

Kai saw the process is going smoothly with everyone's task very clear. He is happy with the results, there are several kitchens for different wings of the castle.

There are several wings to accommodate residents according to their stations. The army belongs to a separate wing with complete kitchen, cafeteria area where they eat and indoors training facilities where Kai is still going to put the necessary equipment.

There are entertainment halls in the same wing such as a cinema so they can watch movies, a bar like facility where they can relax and socialize. Kai even made an open outdoors space and dug large pits, he then had the robots fix them with cement to create swimming pools for the army even though there is no water to put inside the open pools for now.

Even though they are slaves he will not have them suffer too much. There are three more of the similar wings to accommodate different groups of people.

Even with several weeks in space time, the work was too much to finish in a short span of time.

Kai continues to train Ye Ling after bringing him inside the space so that he has more time to finish his training and his screams will not disturb the Tang family of three. He is allowed to live with the others for now since the wing for body cultivators is still empty. The soldiers have been including him in their daily training.

They are amazed at his progress especially with the small size of his body. But Kai is not ready to get them into cultivation, he wants to know if they will be able to awaken supernatural powers. As a result they don't know that Kai is a body cultivator which is why he has such a strong and powerful body.

Kai is planning on recruiting those without a spirit root as soon as the work on the castle is finished. If they won't be able to awaken abilities at least they will be able to defend themselves with powerful bodies.

Ye Lang is not stuck in the space, when he wants to check on his sister he can come out. His sister finally looks like a human being, she has a bit of meat in her body and her dark skin is now beautifully cleansed of all the sicknesses that ware hurting it and making her look ugly.

Her eyes are beautiful, the brown color gleams with a happy luster as if it is a deep golden color. When she looks at a person, it is easy to get mesmerized by them. Her eye lashes are very long, they flutter every time she blinks.

It is easy to see that she will be a beautiful asian woman with a brown complexion in the future. Kai also became shocked when he found out they are actually 16 years of age which is older than him. They had such short and small statures that he thought they were 13 or 14 years.

The medicine is also helpful in their growth especially the height. The fattening process is taking some time for Ye Ling but it will happen.

Her brother is filling up faster than her because he eats like a bear at least six times a day. Body cultivation demands consumption of food more than other forms of cultivation.

This played right into Kai's hand because he needed him to get stronger sooner rather than later. At first Ye Ling was reserved but then he would suffer from hunger pengs more than when he was still in the village. Kai assured him but the boy just wouldn't listen so he took him into his magic space after giving him the slave mark.

Seeing the resources in Kai's hands, Ye Lang let go of his reservations and ate as much as he wanted. His cultivation programs skyrocketed because of the superior quality of the ingredients. The spirit food would provide relief for the pain in his muscles and shorten recovery time.

The day finally came, a year has passed in space time and Ye Lang has finally reached the fifth level of body cultivation. This is when the cultivator is able to chose the subject of their chosen technique.

The cultivation manual that Kai chose for Ye Lang is the one that allows the body to adapt quickly according to the situation. For instance, if Ye Lang is outside in the snow he will be able to adapt and prevent the chill from killing him by adapting to the cold environment.

Kai chose this one because it will allow Ye Lang to assimilate the chip and become one with it faster. His cells will become flexible and behave according to the circumstances.

Kai is hoping he chose well because if not, then Ye Lang may lose his life. He left him the specific updated cultivation technique and went to check on the outside world.

Kai has fixed one of the rooms in the second floor as a delivery room. Lucky for him, there are four experienced army doctors in his team. He took two of them outside to take care and keep a watchful eye on Ye Ling.

When he came out today, he heard screems of pain. He rushed into the space and took out Ye Lang to be here for his sister.

"Ling Ling." He cried out as soon as he saw his sister on the bed struggling to breath because of pain.

"Brother..." The girl on the bed seems to be in pain. Kai frowned. He has made a pill that will make the birth carnal to be elastic and slippery to facilitate the process but it will still need her to push. But this girl seems about ready to give up.

"Brother, I don't think I can make it." She said softly with a pitiful sob. She is pitiful and as a beautiful woman she looks like a weeping princess who somehow keeps her make up even as he is miserable. It makes people want to cuddle and protect her.

"No, Ling Ling don't leave me, please. I only have you my twin sister in this world. Stay I love you and we need to pay our debts remember?" He looked at her fondly. But the girl started to close her eyes. The boy felt his body become numb from the pain.

"That's right! Listen to your brother little girl, do you know how much resources I have put into ensuring you live through this? You think you have the option to give up? Then where will I get my slave? Huh?" Kai asked with a fierce aura that scared the girl and and made Ye Lang stand in front of her protectively.

Kai pushed him aside like he was paper and faced the girl with cold eyes. "I am not running a charity here. If you die, I would only be left with a useless baby and a dead slave. That will anger me, do you understand? I would hate to take my anger out of on your precious brother after I feed your baby to the wolves in those mountains." Kai pointed at the lush green mountains that belong to the Wang family.

"No! Please I will do anything but don't hurt my brother." The girl's voice cracked at the man who is always smiling sweetly and coaxing her to take her medicine. He seems like a different person at the moment. She remembers that he used lightning to smite the witch doctor that was about to kill them in the mountains before.

As she thought of this her strength returned as she fears for her brother. "Whether I hurt him depends on you. You live, he lives. You die....I will not be responsible for what I will do to him." Kai sneered and went out of the room passing by Ye Lang who has red yes looking at him with an aggrieved expression.

Kai left the doctors who returned to their senses and tried to deliver the baby safely. After he got out of the door he found a frightened Tang Mai who couldn't look into his eyes. He halted his step after he passed her but decided to leave instead. It will serve her well to fear him.
