Aoi Ashito: World's greatest.

In a dimly lit bar, a young man sat at the counter wallowing in misery. In front of him where five empty bottles of alcohol and in his hand was a half drunk one. He took a big gulp from the bottle in his hand after which he let out a self depreciating chuckle and said

"am fucked.'' His gaze wandered down at his left leg that lay in a cast, and his heart ached the more. His dream of becoming a professional soccer player had effectively been ruined just as it began. He had dedicated his whole life to achieving his dream and had even made it into the football club based in the city where he lived.

Unfortunately, on his debut match in a Leicester city shirt, he encountered an accident and picked up a nasty injury ruining his career before it could take off.

He was eventually pulled out from his thoughts, as a hand tapped his shoulders. Turning his neck a familiar figure walked into his view, his best friend and teammate Thomas.

''how you holding there troy?'' Thomas asked in a soft voice ''As good as feeling shitty can be'' John replied in an exaggerated manner as the alcohol seemed to take effect. Picking up the bottle of bear, downed the last bit of its content into his mouth and signaled the bartender to hit him with another bottle.

''I don't think so'' Thomas intervened. ''I think you've had enough for one night. ''John Shook his head furiously and replied with his voice raised

''LET ME DRINK IN PEACE TOM'' before pointing and glaring at an empty space. Thomas who was standing behind him let out a long sigh, paid for the drinks, and picked up the drunk Johnand headed for the exit as Johnspat out series of curses.

While exiting the establishment, Thomas heard his phone ring and picked up his phone to answer. The call must have been really important as he failed to notice his friend who had been leaning on him leaving his side and walking into the road.

John, who was currently crossing the road in crutches, had his thoughts somewhere else. He kept thinking of everything he had dedicated his career to, and how his journey had ended so abruptly. His absent mindedness coupled with his drunk state caused him to be oblivious to his friend screaming at him and the truck speeding towards him.

It wasn't until the headlights shone on him that he came back to reality.

Hearing the screaming passerby's, his friend running towards him, and the loud honking of a truck's horn that he realized the situation he was in. Watching the truck speeding towards him immediately sobered him up, and even as the truck rammed against his body there was on one thought on his mind. ''FUCK M…."

Hey guys. Thank you for reading this. I just had a sudden urge to write a football fanfic. It was between a Blue Lock fanfic and Aoi Ashito. I searched for similar fanfics and realized that while Blue Lock has tons of fanfic, Aoi Ashito does have one ( from what I could see ) and that is unacceptable!!
