Chapter 65 : Intervention

"Their feelings towards me are not my responsibility. I never intended to make them fall for me nor do I intended to play with their feelings. But, it would be wrong if I were to say that I have nothing to do with it," Axion thought to herself.

Kaizo and Albi continue their fight.

"As a bounty hunter, she did things that a noble knight like you would oppose. Espionage, assassination... murders," said Kaizo. "And she doesn't intend to stop."

Kaizo's words struck Albi.

"Do you think that simply because she's staying by your side would mean that she loves you?," Kaizo continues.

Albi clenched his fist. Memories of Axion filled his mind. Kaizo charges at him. Slightly flustered, Albi somehow managed to parry.

"You scorn me for being in doubt of my own feelings. Yet you're in doubt of your own," said Kaizo.

"AAARRRGGGHHH!" Albi yelled as he swings his sword with full force, frustrated by what he hears.

"A naive kid like you won't be able to stand by her side," Kaizo continues.

"Then, let us see who between us is worthy to be with her," said Albi.

They both run towards each other, determined to unleash a powerful blow. But suddenly, Axion comes in between them, parrying their attack with her twin dagger. Both Albi and Kaizo flinched.

"Noche comes in the middle of Albus and Mr, K's fight. Will she join Mr. K's side and defeat Albus?" said Pandora.

Ramenman and the others are surprised.

"Well, now that's interesting," said Phoenix.

The three of them stayed still for a moment before both Kaizo and Albi regained their senses and pulled back.

"As much as it pleases me to have two promising pawns on my side, I found it displeasing that you have the audacity to decide for me without putting my opinion in your discussion," said Axion.

Both Kaizo and Albi went silent.

"You can try to kill each other as much as you want, but by the end of the day, I am the one who will decide where I stand," Axion continues.

"Draw your sword," said Axion as she sheath her twin blade and pulled a sword. "You both are fighting each other to see who's worthier for me," she continues. "I will decide if you're worthy at all," she adds as she looks at each other.

Kaizo and Albi shocked. Doubt filled Albi. He doesn't want to fight Axion.

Axion swings her sword towards Albi, catching him in surprise. But Albi managed to parry it. She immediately turns to Kaizo and attacks him. Kaizo leisurely parries her attack. His experience of training with Axion at the station has made him used to her attack.

"Well that's a twist," said Ramenman.

"Hahahaha to think she would fight both of them and show dominance..." Phoenix laughed. "She's not an easy woman isn't she?"

Rum let out a sigh. "That Axion. She always does these kinds of things."

"What a surprising turn of events! Noche fought both Mr. K and Albus," Pandora yelled.

The crowd gets even more excited. Noche aggressively fights both Mr. K and Albus. Having Noche constantly attacking them, Mr. K and Albus don't have time for each other. They both focus on Noche.

"My lady... Please. I do not wish to fight you," said Albi.

"If you lose here, you will tarnish your honor as a knight. What kind of knight not being able to win against a woman in terms of power?" said Axion. She swings her sword as she chants a wind spell.

Albi got pushed back.

"Surely your people can't acknowledge a Captain who loses to a woman," Axion sneer.

"My lady. I have always respected you and your capabilities. I admit that you are indeed strong. But I cannot go against my code and lay a hand on a Lady," said Albi.

"My what a gentleman," Axion chuckled. "That naivety of yours will get you killed one day."

Axion charge at Albi. But Kaizo chased and attacked her from behind. Noticing the coming attack, Axion turns and parries his attack.

"What a fast attack from Mr. K! He still has some skills hidden. But Noche is not losing. The duo hunters know each other's fighting style and are showing a magnificent fight!" Pandora yelled.

"As expected. You got used to the way I fight," said Axion.

"Nonsense! I know you still have a lot more to show," said Kaizo.

Axion chuckled.

Albi raises his sword. Whatever the result is, he must not back down from this fight. He charges at Axion.

"Oh, Albus and Mr. K attacked Noche from two sides," Pandora yelled.

Axion smirked under her mask. She grips her sword and puts on a stance. "Spell... Dance of the wind," she whispers.

Her sword begins to glow blue. Blue light dust spread around the three of them. Taking both Albi and Kaizo by surprise. Axion gracefully twirls between them. A huge gust of wind sweeps the arena. Both Kaizo and Albi were swept away by the wind and harshly hit the wall.

"What a powerful wind! Albus and Mr. K flew across the arena," Pandora yelled.

Kaizo grimace. He looked at Axion. She smirked.

"Albus and Mr. K are down. And the winner is, Noche!" Pandora yelled.
