Chapter 12 : Info

Captain Albi's team.

Axion, Kaizo and Captain Albi walk through the narrow slum. The smell of trash combined with the smell of alien beggars who hardly showered. Suddenly, an alien hit Captain Albi's shoulder.

"Hey! Look where you're going," said the alien. His face is rough. He's body is thin but his figure looks intimidating.

"Excuse me." Said Captain Albi.

"Huuuhhhh?! You think you can just go off easily after bumping to me?" Said The Alien.

The three of them silent. They looked sharp at the alien.

"What are you look'in at?" Said the Alien as he steps closer and Axion can see his ragged teeth. "You have to take responsibility for bumping to me."

"Why? you're the one who came to us first." Said Captain Albi. Refusing to back away from a street thug.

"What's going on?" Ask another alien who came approaching them.

"These guys bumping to me and they don't want to pay for it." Said the alien.

"Ohhh is that so?" Said the alien. He playfully swings a metal pipe in his hand.

Suddenly, the other thugs laugh. They slowly surround them. Kaizo and Axion stay sharp. Getting ready to fight.

"Sir, I don't think you understand common sense. You need to pay for bumping him." Said the alien.

The air turn tense. They calculated the thugs number. The thugs aren't strong. But Captain's team is outnumbered by 20 to 3. And who knows there might be more thugs hidden somewhere, waiting to ambush them.

"GET THEEMMM!!!" Yelled a thug.

Axion dodge an attack. Kaizo pulled his energy sword and fight back with Captain Albi. The narrow alley is filled with thugs. The thugs came from all direction of the alley. Covering the way out of slum.

"Don't worry, My Lady. I will protect you." Said Captain Albi. He pushes the alien back and give few counter attack until the alien fall.

Kaizo glance at them and notice Captain Albi protecting Axion.

"My lady? really?" Kaizo thought to himself.

For a moment, he felt a bit jealous and tried to protect her too. But then He looked at Axion face who could no longer hide her annoyed expression.

Another alien tried to attack Axion. But, again. Before Axion can defend herself, Captain Albi get in the way and stopped her from fighting. Axion glared at the Captain.

Kaizo slightly chuckled. Axion hates to be left out from a fight. Giving up on trying to impress Axion, Kaizo focus on his own battle.

Axion stood up in annoyance as she watched the battle. She's upset when people think she's weak and unable to fight just because she's a woman. Suddenly, her watch beeps. She checked the message.

I found where Scrozux's is. -mercury-

Where? -Axion-

A hidden area at the very back of the slum. He's going to meet his client there. -mercury-

Thanks. I owe you -Axion-

Axion watch the battle. She watches Captain Albi who still fighting to cover her. At first, Axion want to join the action and prove him that she can fight. But Axion changed her mind.

"Let's use him" Axion thought to herself as she smiled.

Moments later the battle ends. The thugs scattered on the street as they groan in pain.

"Lady Axion, are you alright?" Ask Captain Albi.

"Oh. I'm perfectly fine. It all thanks to your gallantry." Said Axion in an obvious sarcastic tone.

"I am happy to be of your service." Said Captain Albi. Too dull to understand sarcasm.

Kaizo look away. He starts to ask the thug one by one.

"We're looking for Scrozux. Tell us where he is." Said Kaizo as he threaten to punch them again.

"We-we're sorry. We truly don't know." Said one of the thug.

"Oh. Perhaps if I hit your head, you will remember something." Said Kaizo with an evil smile.

"Scrozux is a pro hunter. Only big mafia can hire him. Little street thugs like us won't know anything." Said the thug alien in fear.

"Can you tell me where we can find big catch around here?" Ask Axion.

"If you go to the very back side of the slum, you can find bigger criminals than us." Said an alien.

"Yes yes. The deeper you go, the more dangerous the criminals are." Add another alien.

Meanwhile....

Lieutenant's team

Drunk aliens scattered around the bar's floor. Many of them passed out and vomiting from drinking too much. The last Alien who challenged Rum finally give up.

"I-I give up." Said the alien who sit across Rum.

The crowd cheers.

Rum hit the table with a big mug. "It's my win, then."

The alien across him stagger as he hiccups.

"So, do you know anything about a guy named Scrozux?" Rum asked.

The room suddenly goes silent. Rum looks around. The alien looked cautious.

"Huh...? Scrozux...? *hic* The bounty hunter...?" Said the alien.

"Yes."

"Uhhhh... I don't know.... *hic*." Said the Alien.

Rum and Ramen man noticed that something is wrong. The aliens are hesitant to say anything.

"Why you're looking for him?" Ask the bartender. His body is big and full of muscle. But he doesn't seem the type who likes to fight. Still, it doesn't mean he can't fight.

"We have some unfinished business with him." Said Lieutenant Forctis.

"I'm warning you. Nothing good come from getting involved with him." Said The bartender without looking at The lieutenant. He keeps focusing on wiping the wine glass.

"Then you should warn him too." Said the lieutenant as he walks towards the counter. He looked at the bartender in the eyes and said "Nothing good come from stealing from Rubrum."

The bartender peered at the Lieutenat. They looked at each other in silence for a moment. Rum get to the counter and put some money on the table. The bartender finally put down his wine glass.

"If you're looking for Scrozux, I heard a rich mafia hired him." Said the bartender.

"Who?"

"Zaroro, an Alien from Ata Ta Tiga. I heard he's new in the mafia world. I also heard he's a daring young alien. But who knows which rumor is true." Said the bartender.

Rum slightly reminded about Axion's rumor. But she shrugs off the thought. She need to focus.
