While thet y are away, the whole of America is left in shambles by the ravaging beasts. These beasts soon find their way to the hideout. While trying to buy enough time for Hanan to get away with his team, Peter's parents sacrificed their life. Due to the rash movement, the time portal is activated and Peter and his new crew are sent further back in time without completing their mission. And then it breaks down after that, also breaking contact with professor Hanan. They begin the search for Doctor Mark and his family, when they finally find him, he is a child that keeps facing physical abuse from his stepfather. Hardened by his father's constant hitting, young Mark had swore to create a great weapon when he achieves his dreams. Faced by this newly discovered truth, Peter, Zamuel and Rose must change his perspective of the world. Few days after this, they are able to contact Hanan. The time machine has been restored. They go back home to the present, back to the day of the infestation. Yes! Night time comes and there isn't a single zombie! All characters get together with the family that they had lost too.
