They knew Alex Wayne, Governor of Genosha, one of the most powerful beings on the planet and the world's hero in dealing with the invader who wanted to devour the world.

"What is A.I.M. planning to do to take care of Alex Wayne?" Bullseye asked.

"An all-out attack from different directions" Taskmaster answered indifferently.

Bullseye just shows a smile.

"Then what is our mission?" Bowman asked.

Bowman is not interested in what they would do, he only has his new mission in mind.

"Dude, you really are a spoilsport" Bullseye said.

"Our mission is to steal a new power source from a secret facility in Texas" Taskmaster replied.

Everyone was surprised to hear the mission, but they didn't say anything.

Because they were really interested in how A.I.M. would finish off Alex Wayne.

Avengers Tower

Top floor

Fury had come to meet with the Avengers to talk about what happened yesterday.

"Have you managed to find them?" Fury asked.

"No, those bastards seem to have the capability to evade Jarvis's tracking" an annoyed Tony answered.

"Don't mind him, our enemies have hurt his pride" Clint said.

Fury raised his eyebrow but didn't bother with Tony's words.

"Looks like Hydra isn't the only organization attacking us" Fury said as he placed a folder on the table.

"Yesterday, while you were attacked, in different parts of the world several secret facilities were attacked and their technology was stolen" Fury began to explain when he saw that they read the report.

"You mean they wanted to prevent us from stopping their robberies?" Captain asked.

"Damn, what are they planning to do?" Tony cursed.

"For the moment, we have to worry about Hydra's actions, since they started attacking us it means they will continue to attack us" Fury said.

The Avengers just nodded their heads.

Leaving Avengers Tower, Fury gets into his vehicle and in which Sharon Carter, Barbara Morse and Maria Hill go.

"Agent Hill, drive" Fury said.

The vehicle began to move.

While he was lost in thought, he decided to call Alex.

After a few seconds, the call is answered and a voice is heard saying:

"Fury, what's wrong? It's weird that you call me" Alex said.

"I'm calling you because of what is currently happening" Fury said.

"Tell me" Alex said.

And so, Fury tells him what happened the day before.

When he finishes listening, Alex says to Fury:

"I have an idea who may be helping Hydra"

"Who?" Fury asked.

"A.I.M." Alex answered.

Fury fell silent.

A terrorist organization with advanced technology

Now he understood why it was difficult for Stark to track down these people.

"Thanks for the information" Fury said.

"You're welcome" Alex replied casually.

After a little conversation, Fury ended the call.

And he just stayed deep in thought.
