55. Marcus marrying Vesta

Asterion turned around to notice that the person calling him was none other than King Adrian.

"Father." Asterion greeted as King Adrian walked up to him.

"I have something important to tell you, but before that, where is Vesta?" King Adrian asked, making Asterion a little confused.

"I sent her back home yesterday. In fact there are things I would want to discuss with you, father." Asterion said.

"Marcus has been insisting on marrying Vesta since yesterday. His father came to meet me after the court meeting. He said he tried persuading his son, even telling him that she had run away a day prior to her wedding with you. She could do that again. But Marcus is hellbent on marrying only her. He wants no other wife and wants his father and me to put forward a marriage proposal to King Ignis." King Adrian finished speaking.

"This is Vesta's doing." Asterion muttered.

"What?" King Adrian asked.
