first task

Sian woke up from her little nap, as she tidied herself ready to do some work, she went out of her room . She was very confused about which things she should do first.

So she took a pen and paper with her in the lawn as she took her seat in the chair. She started jolting down what she should do first.

Her father had given her some money, just enough to survive for two or three months if she used it carefully.

She decided her first task was to contact the supplier for the shop , then she will buy some decorations to decorate the shop that will attract some attention. The next thing she will do is , buy some vegetables and fruit seeds , and sow them in her backyard. It was in case she was sick or in sort of money this will help her. Next she will clean the room and adjust the furniture suitable for the inn.

After writing some more things she was ready to work. Planning ahead and jolting down her task made it easy for her to work.

"Alright, fighting!!" She cheered herself as she locked the house and went to the supplier.

To save the money and get used to the environment here , she decided to take a walk instead of going in a cart.

Many people glanced at her , the place she was going to was a new area to the original character too.

Sian's body didn't change much, she looked just like she was before but much more beautiful and similar to this era. Though the original character was quite gloomy, always hiding her face with bangs , not wearing proper clothes and always walking low.

Sian when she looked at herself in the mirror after coming here was rather shocked too. Though she was tomboyish herself she knows how to take care of herself.

She spent hours in the bathroom to wash herself, though her clothes were not that good she washed them properly and sewed the torn side properly.

Cleaning her hair and tying it in a ponytail is simple but it looks good.

She was quite tall in her real life but ' Yi Sian' was a little taller than her , that's why people gossip more about her , being a girl but looking so tall that she will not get married easily.

She was 175 cm tall in her world but now she was 180 cm or something. It was just a hunch because she hadn't measured it yet.

She asked uncle Luo for the address of the place where she could contact the supplier before .

She asked the directions to some old people and some shopkeepers as she made her way to her destination.

She had decided to make her shop like a supermarket, with fruits, vegetables, species, grains , clothes and other things that one might need in their daily life.

The place she is going to for the supplies is very famous for such things. They were the rich suppliers in this town ,his place was very famous in other towns and cities too , with her father's name and reputation she was able to get an appointment with them. Her father also talked to them about the contract.

She made her way inside after showing the guards her pass of the Yi family.

The view from inside was very blasting, every worker was busy doing their work . Mattress, clothes and so many things were being made. One of the guards directed Sian to the main office where the manager of this place and the boss was.

She made her ways in the office, its room was spacious but beautiful things adored them .

There sat a man with light blue robe with a beautiful jade pendant hanging on his side , beside him was a man standing next to him with a simple, good cream robe.

Sian went toward them - "greeting the gentleman, I am Yi Sian , I made an appointment with you about getting the supplies from you."

The boss named Cheng pei , he was in his mid 40's, looked at her checking her upside down , creeping Sian a little bit with his behaviour but she knew he was curious after all she was a girl and was doing business.

"Hmm... So you are the daughter of governor Yi huh. I heard from him the next day he was promoted to the capital, saying his daughter wanted to handle one of his businesses and asked me to help you with the supplies. He is my friend so I agreed to his request and I'll help too but I wanted to ask you something, do you mind hearing that ?."

He asked as he rubbed his jade pendant, his assistant left his side to get the contact documents from the cabinet.

"Of course, you can ask me anything." Sian said as she bowed down a little to show her politeness.

"Ahem- okay then , Yi Sian I can see that you are willing to handle a business but are you really sure that you can handle this properly?.You are a girl so there may be way more problems that you may face in the future, which might slow down your interest and motivation. The contract that you will sign with us will be about one or two years , will you be able to follow it properly? Think carefully before you sign this as I don't want to handle any mess or anything, if you think you can't take such responsibility back down quickly without becoming an embarrassment in the future. You have to pay us money for the supplies and to earn it you have to work hard , if you think you can do that , please sign it here and if you can't turn around and go home."

Chen Pei handed her the contact he got from his assistant as he awaited Sian's decision.

He was a successful and profitable businessman , he only wanted to do business with smart and profitable people . Sian was just a simple girl to him , how can he trust her , in fact Sian really didn't have much experience about doing a business at all but as she has work part time in shops before, she knew some tricks and tactics, as well she had observed the owner there how they handled the business so she'll make up of that well too.

After listening to cheng pei without any hesitation she said , " I know your worries but rest assured I will not back down from my responsibilities. I had already planned how to arrange my store ."

"Really, are you really sure?" The boss said in a suspicious look but he could see the determination in Sian's eyes.

"Yes , I am sure! "

"Ok then here you can read the contract and sign it."

Sian took the contract and read it carefully, line by line , all of them were okay . After reading she quickly signs it and stamps her fingerprint on it.

The boss took the contract and handed one to Sian too , he stood up .

" okay then , Yi Sian , we are now business partner, I look forward to work with you "

"I look forward to working with you too, sir ."

After some more praising and conversation, she showed the list of supplies she needed to the boss.

"Sir, I'll need this supplies written, I will really appreciate it if you could send me this faster and about the money I'll pay advance first and the remaining money after I get the supplies."

Cheng pei was quite impressed, Sian had already done so much , the list was quite neat and detailed . He handed it to his assistant, telling him to get this ready as quickly as possible.

" Don't worry , we will send them as quickly as possible, I look forward to seeing your business blooming."

"Thank You sir, I'll take my leave now I have other business to take care of ."

"Ok , but next time , let's have tea, " he said as he escorted Sian out.

"Of course" Sian bid her farewell as she made her way out. Outside she took out her mini notebook and ticked out her first task.

Now the second task , buying decoration and the best place for that would be the market .
