Clan training day

Lin Xianbai then sighs "Dammit this guy really fainted."

A few hours before daybreak Luo Zheng begins to wake up. "I had a weird dream." he said as he sat up rubbing his head.

"It wasn't a dream." Lin Xianbai replied as he appeared before Luo Zheng once more.

"W-who are you?!" Luo Zhen demanded.

"Watch how you speak to me, child!" Lin Xianbai said as he releases his cultivation suppressing Luo Zheng to the ground nearly crushing him.

"Forgive me senior." Luo Zheng replied as he was about to die by being crushed.

"Good, now that you realized you are nothing but an ant. Let me ask you something. Do you wish to get stronger?" Lin Xianbai offered Luo Zheng.

"I do." Luo Zheng retorted instantly.

"In that case here" Lin Xianbai replied as he made his hand shine before making the system appear before Luo Zheng.

"What is this?" Luo Zheng asked curiously with his eyebrows furrowed.

"This is a system that will allow you to grow, you make look through it and ask any questions you may have." Lin Xianbai said as he then disappeared.

"You never said how I am supposed to ask you." Luo Zheng said seeing as Lin Xianbai had disappeared.

"Kid I'm in your mind." Lin Xianbai replied which caught Luo Zheng off guard as he nearly stumbled over.

After a few moments, Luo Zheng had looked over the system as he then asked "What does this 'stat' board do?"

"That shows your current strength and will allow you to become stronger than anyone at your level or even higher levels once you have done enough quests." Lin Xianbai answered.

"I see then how do I gain quests?" Luo Zheng questioned.

"Just do your own goals for now and you will gain quests along the way, however,, this is your first quest." Lin Xianbai said as an alert screen appeared before Luo Zheng with a quest that read;

Quest: defeat Luo Chen Yun during the clan training day.

"How am I supposed to do that?" Luo Zheng asked in disbelief.

"I will not go away until you have completed the quest. Also, you will find out later today." Lin Xianbai replied as his voice disappeared.

"Dammit." Luo Zheng said as he realized the sun was rising.

In the system space, Lin Xianbai was sitting alone as he began to create various martial arts and add them to the store. "I suppose I should leave him alone at times so the plot stays steady but let's just create a martial arts to replace the fire furnace so he doesn't have to be taken away from the Luo Clan and so the Luo Clan too can suffer.

-The clan meeting day-

"Luo Zheng guess who took the second heaven and earth pill!" Luo Cheng Yun taunted to Luo Zheng as Cheng Yun then rushed Luo Zheng with a flurry of multiple attacks with the 'rosewood inch technique'

Luo Zheng merely persisted as he was continuously beaten but each time he was beaten he continued to grow stronger, slowly but surely. This shocked many especially when Cheng Yun began to run out of breath. Luo Zheng smiled and said "You've been the one attacking and enjoying yourself this whole time. Shouldn't it be my turn now?" Luo Zheng then rushed forward with the rosewood inch technique at the 7th rank and crippled Cheng Yun.

*Ding*

"Quest complete" Was heard inside Luo Zheng's head which surprised him a little.

This made Luo Jun Yi, Luo Cheng Yun's uncle rush to his son as his face turn distorted with anger "You vicious brat how dare you injure my son!"

With this statement, Luo Zheng jumped away saying "According to the clan rules as a flesh target I am now free."

"Rules? Only your trash father would follow the rules." Jun Yi exclaimed as he appeared before Luo Zheng.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Luo Zheng shouted as he attempted to punch Jun Yi to only be hit in the side of the ribs sending him flying to the ground.

Jun Yi was now before Luo Zheng and proposed "If you hand over your protection technique I will let you live."

"I was naive to think you would follow the rules, you even dared to kill your own brother! ONE DAY I WILL TAKE YOUR HEADS AND OFFER THEM TO MY FATHER!" Luo Zhen roared in rage as he kicks Jun Yi to the floor making him squeal in pain.

"Who else wants to stop me?!" Luo Zheng shouted to the crowd as he stood up.

*BOOM*

Luo Zheng was now on the floor again, what did this? Luo Bing Quan the head of the family now held Luo Zheng's head. "You vile kid we spared you because you're our relative. But you dared to repay our kindness this way. If it is death you wish for then I shall deliver it."

"Second brother wait, don't kill him." Jun Yi managed to say as he slowly stood up.

"Why not?!" Bing Quan asked as he glared towards Jun Yi.

"Something happened to him, his strength is way above average and his cultivation speed is even faster than Luo Pei Ran's who took the heaven and earth pill." Jun Yi answered.

"Speak what happened to you!" Bing Quan demanded.

*BANG*

*BOOM*

"Who dares hurt my disciple!" Lin Xianbai roared holding both Luo Bing Quan and a surprise attacker, Xie Lang.

"W-who are you?" Bing Quan asked as he was now barely able to breathe under the intense bloodlust and pressure coming from Lin Xianbai.

"I am his master! I told him to do this so I did not have to intervene in a family matter but it seems I must!" Lin Xianbai replied as he then said "You are not needed." As he used a single finger that summoned a bright green flame to burn Xie Lang's body and soul until nothing remained beside one thing, his spiritual ring.

"W-WHAT!" The crowd responded in shock and this made Yun Ji and Bing Quan shake in fear.

"Luo Zheng stand up." Lin Xianbai commanded.

"Yes senior!." Luo Zheng replied as he stood up.

"Do you wish to kill them to avenge your father?" Lin Xianbai questioned.

"Yes senior." Luo Zheng answered bowing respectfully to Lin Xianbai.

"Then I will give you this chance." upon Lin Xianbai saying this Bing Quan and Jun Yi had both regressed to the mortals.

"I thank senior for this opportunity.' Luo Zheng replied as he walked closer to Jun Yi as he then leaned closer and whispered "This is what you get for trying to take the only thing father left me." As his hand pierced through Jun Yi's heart.

He then walked closer to Bing Quan who then begged "Please Luo Zheng, we're relatives!"

"Did you care that my father was your own brother?" Luo Zheng cold-heartedly replied as he sliced his head off.

"Good. Let's be on our way." Lin Xianbai said as he took Luo Zheng to the outskirts of a nearby mountain as he used a technique to make everyone forget that Lin Xianbai even existed however they still remember Luo Zheng killing Bing Quan and Jun Yi being killed by Luo Zheng by a surprise attack though as was the only way he beat Bing Quan.

"Senior, can I ask why you helped me?" Luo Zheng asked nervously as he had now felt even more of Lin Xianbai's strength.

"Got to make some bull up" Lin Xianbai thought.

"I have accepted you as a disciple and you agreed as soon as you got the system although you may not remember that moment." Lin Xianbai responded.

"I understand in that case I greet master umm, what's your name again?" Luo Zheng asked with a wry smile.

"My name is Lin Xianbai but just call me Master Lin." Lin Xianbai answered with a slight chuckle.

"In that case, I worship master Lin." Luo Zheng replied as he fell to the ground kowtowing.

"In that case here." Lin Xianbai replied as he lit Luo Zheng on fire while also throwing in a bunch of weapons from Xie Lang's Xumi ring.

"M-master what are you doing." Luo Zheng pleaded to know an answer.

"You idiot focus!" Lin Xianbai responded which made Luo Zheng go quiet as he began to focus and as he absorbed the essence of the weapons he began to light up a dragon scale which filled him with strength, the process lasted 5 hours until the fire died out and as it did Luo Zheng had come out with a Xuan tier-middle level body.

"Thank you master for the opportunity." Luo Zheng replied with a bow.

"No need to be so sincere, but now I will go back although remember you can always ask me anything as long as you have the system. Also, don't forget you completed your quest check out the system again." Lin Xianbai said as he once again disappeared as he handed Luo Zheng the Xumi ring.

*DING*

Quest: join the Qing Yun Sect.

"Another quest?" Luo Zheng thought as he first looked through the ring and found a flying knife and according to canon he threw it once again sending it all the way to Drizzle peak.
