[Hostel music]

"Again! Again! Again!"

Then the person fell to the ground completely drunk while the other customers laughed.

"Normally in two weeks when winter arrives" remembering something Geralt turned his gaze to me

"Aiden, I was wondering why you are not cold?"

Not understanding his question, because I feel the cold, maybe I don't shiver like everyone else, but I feel the cold on my skin

"Let me explain to you when the temperature drops, our body heats up to maintain a vital level and by rejecting this heat, our breaths make smoke when the outside and inside have a big temperature difference yet you, you don't have this smoke as if your body is already at the same heat."

Not understanding why Ciri got worried and took my hand and kept touching me then she turned to Geralt and said

"Stop lying, he's warm."

"Ciri, did you think I was dead or something?"

"No, just shut up!" Then she sat back down and drank her hot chocolate, sulking.

(I don't know if there are any chocolates, so in my fan fiction there are)

Seeing that, I knew why she was ruling because since she recovered from her grief she started to be always glued to me as if she was afraid to lose me, then I understand a little bit because being alone is something horrible,

I remember when I was in the hospital, there was a college next door and every time I saw people my age, laughing and chatting and I envied them I felt like I was in the shadows when they were the light, feeling like you were held in chains and even with all your efforts you couldn't break them as you saw that the light you wanted to reach eventually slipped away and disappeared and fell back into the darkness. Alone.

So understanding what she was going through, I found it hard to tell her that she shouldn't react like that, so I asked Geralt for help as he had already noticed and assured me that he would fix the problem in Kaer Morhen

The games of Gwynts are played continuously with me taking the Scoia'tael faction, Ciri and Geralt the northern kingdoms (Tell me your gwynt factions, it was Scoia'tael where you could chain cards continuously)

After finishing our drinks, we headed back to Ablette to continue our journey.

Thanking Geralt, I returned my gaze to the two drowners I had eliminated.

The drowners are aquatic creatures, their eyes are white as if they were blind, their claws are poisoned for humans, and they make big jumps to surprise their opponents.

Moving towards the drow, I began to delicately open the top part of its head, Geralt began to move towards me.

"Go carefully, because drowning brains are very fragile, if you damage them you risk that instead of making a swallow, you will turn it into poison.

Understanding this, I began to gently enlarge the head until it was roughly square, then I gently lifted the Brain until I placed it in a jar with water specially prepared for preservation.

Having finally finished, I went to wash, for I am dirty with their blood, and headed for the camp where Geralt and Ciri were bickering.

"I say we cook the beef and then put the sauce on" Geralt retorted saying.

"Nonsense, we have to have the sauce first and then the meat, so it can soak up the sauce."

Continuing their bickering, I smiled as I saw their interaction, especially Geralt's, as he didn't even realize he was messing with Ciri.

I looked up at their skies where the snow was starting to fall, but while everyone else was doing something else, the three of them didn't notice that Aiden's eye would start to glow slightly and that if someone was in front of him then instead of feeling warm, he would feel cold.

Finishing looking at the snow, I walked over to Geralt and Ciri still arguing, then took the meat and sauce and put them both on at the same time as the two looked on in shock.

We were in the middle of a snowstorm and were struggling to make progress, but seeing that we were still making progress, I shouted to Geralt.

"GERALT, WHERE ARE WE GOING?"

"THERE IS A VILLAGE NOT FAR AWAY, I HAVE A FRIEND WHO OWES ME HIS LIFE, HE WILL GIVE US SHELTER."

Continuing with difficulty as I had slipped more than once, but it was Ciri who was having more trouble climbing the slope due to her age, so I picked her up by the assaults and led her onto the horse she was holding tightly.

But what was weird was that Geralt was right, I could feel the cold on my skin, but I didn't feel that snapping sensation or trying to cover up, but the worst part was that I knew where we were going,

It wasn't like I had x-vision or night vision, it was more like cold vision, I can't explain it, it was like I could feel in my vision where we were going, it was like where there was freezing I knew where to go and never got lost, I felt like I was at home, the snow covering me was like a blanket, the cold wind on my face was like a warm breath...

But not to linger any longer, we had arrived at a gate where the village was, but as we were about to pass, Geralt stopped us from continuing and remained silent for several minutes until Ciri got fed up and asked.

"What's going on?" Geralt didn't answer. Ciri was about to continue, but I intercepted her.

"Ciri, shh, it's too quiet."

Indeed, too quiet was the word, not a sound, only doors and windows slamming and the sound of wind blowing through the houses.
