A Desolate Scene

I knew very well that even though there were not many people there during the day, I couldn't stay there too long.

I grabbed Bill by the hair and dragged him into the woods. He resisted and tried to run away a few times, but I stopped him.

I frowned, thinking the guy was annoying.

So I took out his crossbow and aimed it at him.

"Hey! Hey! Don't do that! Poison! It's poisoned!"

Bill was scared out of his wits. He sat on the ground and kept crawling backward.

I frowned and said, "Don't move... or I won't be able to shoot you."

I pulled the trigger, and the bolt flew right at Bill!

He screamed hysterically as the bolt went into his stomach.

...

Not far from was a quarry.

The rumbling noise drowned out Bill's screams and cries for help.

He clutched his stomach and trembled. I said softly, dragging his hair as I walked deeper into the woods, "Don't roll around. Don't leave blood on the ground. To put it simply, don't get me in trouble, okay?"
