"I never thought I would get nagged at again. Damn, I miss my mother," Boruto muttered to himself, a hint of nostalgia and longing in his voice.
Shaking off the thoughts of the earlier incident, Boruto tossed his clothes onto his bed and cracked his knuckles, preparing himself for a rigorous training session.
"First, warm up," Boruto instructed himself, taking a few moments to stretch his muscles and loosen his joints. He knew the importance of properly preparing his body for the intense workout that awaited him. With his body warmed up, he proceeded to perform a series of calisthenics, focusing on every muscle group except his legs. He was well aware that his legs would already be sore from his extensive use of the Body Flicker technique.
Next, Boruto moved on to pull-ups, but he decided to add a twist to the exercise. Using his chakra, he stuck his fingers to the wall and performed pull-ups in a gravity-defying manner. It was a modification he had come up with to challenge himself further.
Sweat poured down Boruto's brow as he pushed his body to its limits. He trained for over an hour, pushing through the fatigue and the burning sensation in his muscles. Finally, he decided to take a break, his body glistening with perspiration.
Just as he caught his breath, the door to his room creaked open, and Hinata stepped inside. She caught a glimpse of her son performing handstand push-ups, a look of surprise crossing her face.
Boruto noticed his mother's presence and swiftly landed on his feet, his expression curious. "What is it?" he asked, wondering why she had entered his room.
Hinata smiled softly, her worry dissipating. "Nothing, just come downstairs. Dinner is ready," she replied, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
After that, Boruto cleans his sweat and then wore a cloth and head to the dinner table and he took a seat.
"Where is Tou-san?" Boruto ask.
"He was caught up to work" Hinata said.
"Ohh" Boruto said.
With that being said, Boruto began eating a lot and Hinata was a bit surprised but she let her son eat and smiling seeing her son eating that much.
After finishing his meal, he wearily made his way to his room, longing for a restful sleep to replenish his energy. The day had been particularly exhausting for him, leaving him drained both physically and mentally. As he lay down on his bed, his eyelids heavy with fatigue, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him.
Fast forward to a later time, Naruto finally returned home, his eyes still carrying the weight of exhaustion. Hinata, ever the caring wife, greeted him with a warm smile. "Naruto-kun, welcome back," she said, her voice filled with genuine concern.
Naruto, unable to hide his weariness, replied, "Hinata-chan, I'm so tired." With a sigh, he leaned on her shoulder, finding solace in her comforting presence. Hinata's smile widened, her heart swelling with love and admiration for her husband. Despite his fatigue, Naruto's vulnerability only made her love him more.
The Next Day,
After finishing his breakfast, Boruto wasted no time and left his home. With a determined expression, he created a clone to search for Kakashi, while he himself made his way towards a nearby vacant area.
As he walked towards the training ground, his mind began to wander. 'Hmm, it seems unlikely that anyone besides Guy and Kakashi would be willing to train me. And even if they do, they probably won't share their most powerful Jutsu,' he contemplated.
Letting out a sigh, Boruto muttered to himself, "And then there's Kakashi, always hiding from me. You know what, I'll just focus on refining my Chakra Control and strengthening my body."
Continuing towards the nearby training ground, Boruto had a specific plan in mind. He wanted to utilize a river that flowed nearby to enhance his Chakra Control. Upon reaching his destination, he casually discarded his jacket and shirt, placing them on the ground.
As Boruto removed his jacket, revealing the contents within, a few scrolls caught his attention. These were the scrolls he had taken, carefully hidden inside the jacket. Boruto had chosen this hiding spot, knowing that his father, Naruto, would be unlikely to notice them unless he needed to use his desk for work.
With the scrolls set aside, Boruto shifted his focus to his training. He concentrated on his heel, just as he had done the day before. Drawing upon his Chakra, he took his first steps onto the water's surface. The sensation of walking on water was both exhilarating and challenging, but Boruto was determined to push himself further.
He decided to elevate the difficulty level by incorporating exercises into his training routine. Balancing on the surface of the water, he performed a series of calisthenics, testing his Chakra Control to its limits. Each movement required precise control and concentration, as any misstep could lead to a plunge into the depths below. But Boruto remained steadfast, challenging himself to master this advanced technique.
As Boruto engaged in his calisthenics routine, he couldn't help but think about the possibility of learning a simple healing Jutsu from his mother, Hinata. "Hinata can teach me a basic healing Jutsu. I'll ask her after my training session with Tenten-sensei," he muttered to himself, determined to expand his repertoire of skills.
For the next two hours, Boruto dedicated himself to the rigorous calisthenics, pushing his body to its limits. The sweat dripped down his forehead as he felt the burn in his muscles. With each repetition, he could feel himself growing stronger and more focused.
After completing his intense workout, Boruto decided to take a well-deserved rest. He found a comfortable spot and settled down, reaching for the scrolls he had brought along. His eyes scanned the contents of one particular scroll, titled Water Release: Water Trumpet.
With great interest, Boruto began studying the intricacies of the technique. He meticulously practiced the hand signs associated with it, ensuring his movements were precise and fluid.
Observing the sequence, he remarked, "So, this is similar to the standard Fireball Jutsu. But I suppose it's even better because it only requires three hand signs. It follows the sequence of Dragon - Tiger - Hare," Boruto noted, his mind processing the information. "Living in the Shinobi world has definitely helped my hand movements appear more natural, but I'll need to practice this extensively until I can execute it with just one hand sign." Determined to master the technique, Boruto made a mental note to devote ample time to perfecting it.
After approximately an hour, Boruto's clone, which had been dispatched to search for Kakashi in another part of the city, dispersed, sending its memories back to Boruto's consciousness.
"Hmm, it seems like my clone got bored. I can understand why. Searching for someone who's intentionally hiding and likely observing us can be a real pain. Tomorrow will be the last day I send a clone to look for him," Boruto murmured, acknowledging the difficulties and frustrations that came with the task.
Undeterred by the challenges, Boruto decided to take matters into his own hands. He summoned a clone right beside him, its form materializing with a flicker of Chakra. With a determined expression, Boruto instructed the clone to learn the Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique.
As Boruto dedicated himself to training the two Jutsu, he exercised caution and restraint, avoiding the temptation to spam the techniques recklessly. Aware of his Chunin-level+ Chakra reserves, he adopted a strategic approach, utilizing the Jutsu and then allowing himself a 20-minute rest period before continuing.
Although their mastery over the techniques had progressed significantly, Boruto acknowledged that they were not yet perfect. Determined to reach a higher level of proficiency, he repeated this cycle of practice and rest until the clock struck 3:00 pm, the sound of his grumbling stomach reminding him of his need for nourishment.
"I'm hungry. It's time to grab some food," Boruto declared, carefully placing the scrolls back into his jacket and slipping it on. With a sense of anticipation, he made his way towards Ichiraku Ramen, knowing that his father's reputation as the Hokage would likely earn him a discount or some special treatment at the beloved ramen shop.
As Boruto made his way towards Ichiraku Ramen, his attention was momentarily caught by the sight of Choji and his daughter walking by.
They carried several bags of chips in their hands, a small moment of father-daughter bonding that caught Boruto's eye.
His thoughts briefly wandered, trying to recall the girl's name, but he quickly dismissed it, convinced that she wouldn't play a significant role.
Upon arriving at the ramen restaurant, Boruto stepped inside, greeted by the aroma of delicious noodles and savory broth. He chose to take a seat at the "Kaunta Seki," the bar or counter seating that allowed him to observe the bustling activity of the kitchen while enjoying his meal.
Teuchi, the owner of the restaurant, turned around and caught sight of a young man with vibrant yellow hair. A smile spread across his face as he exclaimed, "Naruto?"
The young man shook his head and replied, "No, I'm his son, Boruto."
Teuchi chuckled, noticing the striking resemblance between father and son. Curiosity piqued, he asked, "So, what can I get for you, Boruto?"
Boruto thought for a moment before replying, "Just give me what my dad usually orders. I'll take a bowl of that."
"Alright, your ramen will be ready in no time," Teuchi assured him. With a swift motion, he rolled up his sleeves and began skillfully preparing the ramen. The tantalizing aroma of simmering broth filled the air, creating an atmosphere of anticipation.
As Boruto patiently awaited his bowl of ramen, Teuchi's daughter, Ayame, approached him and took a seat beside him. With a warm smile, she introduced herself, saying, "My name is Ayame, and that's my father, Teuchi."
Boruto returned the greeting, his curiosity piqued by Ayame's friendly demeanor. "Nice to meet you, Ayame-san," he replied.
Curiosity getting the better of her, Ayame inquired, "Are you eating alone?"
Boruto nodded, explaining, "Yeah, I just finished training, so I thought I'd grab some food."
"Next time, bring your dad here. It's been a while since he ate at our restaurant," Ayame suggested, her voice filled with nostalgia.
Boruto nodded, understanding the sentiment behind Ayame's words.
Before leaving his side, Ayame affectionately patted Boruto on the back and said, "Make sure you eat to your heart's content, okay?"
Boruto responded with a thumbs-up, assuring her that he would do just that.
With a final smile, Ayame gracefully made her way to a newly arrived customer, ready to take their order and provide them with the same warm hospitality she had shown Boruto.
As the aromatic bowl of ramen was finally placed in front of Boruto, Teuchi offered a warm smile and said, "Here you go."
Boruto expressed his gratitude with a simple "Thanks" before eagerly preparing to savor the dish.
Teuchi, taking pride in his creation, leaned in closer and advised, "Make sure to savor every bite of my ramen."
Boruto nodded in agreement, his anticipation evident in his eyes. "I will," he assured Teuchi.
With a voracious appetite, Boruto swiftly devoured the ramen, thoroughly enjoying each flavorful mouthful. Once finished, he rose from his seat and made his way to the counter to settle the bill.
"How much is it?" Boruto inquired, reaching into his pocket for his wallet.
Ayame, who was manning the counter, looked up with a warm smile and replied, "It's on the house. Consider it a token of our appreciation. And while you're here, take this."
She placed a voucher on the counter, its words proclaiming a complimentary bowl of ramen for Boruto and his family.
Boruto hesitated, feeling a twinge of guilt. "Are you sure?" he questioned, unsure if he should accept such generosity.
Ayame's expression softened, and she reassured him, "Absolutely. Your father has done so much for us. Please, take it."
Understanding the sentiment behind her words, Boruto nodded appreciatively. "Okay, I understand. Thank you, Ayame-san," he said, gratefully accepting the voucher before bidding farewell and leaving the restaurant.
As he departed, Ayame called out with a warm smile, "Come again!"
Boruto waved in acknowledgment, knowing that he would indeed return to savor Teuchi's delectable ramen and enjoy the warm hospitality of the restaurant once more.
