Grozdan's POV

It was like walking into a cheap carnival attraction, I followed the whisp of dirty blond hair pass the first row of hedges, I take the sharp turn only to find myself alone in a deadend.

I catch another flash of gold on the row behind me, so I turn and run after it, I was one step behind him, only to take the turn and find myself alone again.

It was like a wild golden goose chase, every time I was one step behind him, I take the turn to find that he'd somehow vanished into thin air, on the seventh turn I screamed in frustration "WHERE ARE YOU?!" I got no reply, of course I got no reply, I'm alone, I'm in a large maze of grass, screaming my lungs out after chasing a very vivid figment of my imagination.

I was hallucinating, it had to be, the blood deficiency had already done it's damage, I just need to drink a lot more and get my head on straight.
