"You're so dumb!" Su Xiaomo stuck out her tongue. "Bye bye! I'm going back home now!"

There was no way He Jiayu was going to let her go now.

Reaching out with his long arms, he pulled Su Xiaomo into his car, where the light was comfortably dim. Holding Su Xiaomo, He Jiayu felt the whole thing was almost unreal.

"I thought… you would be mad at me…"

Su Xiaomo rolled her eyes. "Of course I'm mad!"

But she didn't want to deny her feelings anymore.

She had been disconcerted before because He Jiayu hadn't told her his true feelings. Now that He Jiayu had confessed his love, she no longer needed to feel restless.

"What can I do to make you happy again?" He Jiayu asked gingerly.

"Be my punching bag for the rest of my life, then!" Su Xiaomo grinned.

He Jiayu was speechless.

After a long silence, he said, "No problem."

They could hear each other's breathing in this enclosed environment, and they had never felt so close…
