In 15 mintues, Su Mo had caught up with Li Hai.

Li Hai was ghastly pale and sweating bullets. It was partly because of the pressure from the ladder, and partly out of fear of Su Mo.

He wanted to run, but his legs felt as heavy as lead and his body trembled under the tremendous weight.

"Su Mo, what... what do you want?" Li Hai stuttered with a dark expression.

"What do you think? You tried to kill me in Skygale Valley!" Su Mo said with a mocking laugh while standing next to Li Hai on the step.

"That…!"

Li Hai's expression changed, and he whispered, "Su Mo, that was my fault! Please spare me!"

Li Hai knew he was no match for Su Mo and did not want to die at the entrance of Firmament Palace, so he voluntarily asked for forgiveness.

"Spare you? Give me an excuse to spare you," Su Mo said with a smile.
