The regent's close men regarded everyone as a critical part of the team. Therefore, their discussions with one another were open and transparent. 

Little did they know that Gu Xijiu sat on a chair in the corner of the hall and quietly observed as these officials openly expressed their own opinions. She had quietly sneaked into the hall by using the Invisibility Spell so that no one would notice her presence. Basically, she could stay and listen on for as long as she liked.

The regent's men brought up many of their concerns, thus intensifying the discussion. Nevertheless, eventually, all of them realized that instead of helplessly waiting for death to come, they should make a plot now to abolish the Devil King and crown a new ruler.
