5 Days of Silence

I was tapping my foot nervously on the floor as the numbers were descending and thinking I'm going to be late again. It really wasn't my fault was trying to tell my mind again and again.

Suddenly, a tap of heels alerted me to the fact that I am not the only person who is running late today. A glance of her pushing her black hair behind her ears in a hurry as she struggles with a fully loaded handbag and a briefcase with one hand, came into my vision. She reached for the call button on the wall and started pressing it again and again knowing that it will not make the elevator move any faster.

She pressed the 27th floor button with her elbow and meanwhile, I was checking her out from head to toe. She had black shiny long hair strangling on her cute little face, a killing figure with long white legs and black high heels. Big glasses on her face make her look more cute.

I had a smile on my face while watching her little acts of hurry in the elevator. She was continuously watching time in her watch, removing little sweat drops from her forhead and biting her lips in confusion. Watching her was such a treat to eyes and heart. I wanted to ask her that, is she getting late, but couldn't say anything. My lips were stucked and refused to open at that time.

Meanwhile, my floor 25th came and I had to leave the elevator with a heavy heart without saying a single word. I looked back when door was getting closed. She was looking at me like she also wants to say something or maybe she wants to ask something. I was trying to figure out, but door closed again and elevator ascended.

I came to my desk thinking about that beauty in my head. Usually, mondays are very boring but out of the box it was a very fresh start of the working week. All day I had a sweet smile on my face even I don't know why.
