"How about this?" Scarlett wasn't bothered in the least and even yawned as if she was already bored.
"If you can land one hit on me" She smirked and pointed to the concrete ground below them.
I'll prostrate in apology for how I've spoken to you" Scarlett's words made me grow stiff before I instantly calmed down.
'It's not possible' Leon wouldn't be able to land a hit on her even if she was half asleep and had three limbs.
"Really?" Leon looked intrigued by the idea and he finally glanced at the sword that was lying at his feet.
"And if you win?" But he was careful asking for what would happen if he couldn't land a hit on her.
"You think I want something from a bug like you" Scarlett didn't only laugh but she seemed genuinely amused at his words.
"…" Leons eye twitched and I could I see him gritting his teeth in obvious annoyance.
"Alright then" The dark skinned man picked up the sword showing just how truly arrogant and ignorant he was.
'Truly delusional' There was no way he could win and I cliched my tongue as Leon pointed the blade forward.
"Come at me anim~" He smirked as he spoke in a condescending tone and yet he never finished his sentence.
"Agh!" A loud groan left his mouth as Scarlett appeared in front of him and kicked his chest with her foot.
'He's doomed' I stifled a laugh as his body slid across the ground until he came to a helpless stop.
"Call me an animal one more time" Scarlett's eyes were wide like that of a serial killer before they went on a spree.
"W~what…" Leon looked shocked as he slowly got back up to his feet while heaving for air.
It was then did I realize that he didn't have some sort of special plan, The idiot had truly believed he could land a hit on Scarlett. Such an idea left me more dumbfounded than it should have as I watched his eyes trembling slightly with his usual smug expression no where to be seen.
"Ugh!" Yet before he could even process what had happened Scarlett had already punched in right in the face.
'Perfect!' I almost stood up and applauded as the dark skinned man's head flew back from the force.
"A bug like you dares to insult me!" Scarlett swung her body around and landed a kick on his unguarded side.
"Ah!" Leon screamed and flew to the side rolling along the floor like a doll with no strings attached.
"Not only are you worthless!" Scarlett kicked him in the chest before he could get up causing his body to slid back.
"But you dare to leach off my fiancé like the pathetic parent less loser you are!" The red haired woman stomped on his chest from above and kicked Leon in his face.
"S~stop" The man in question had a look of fear fill his face as blood dripped from his nose.
"You worthless trash!" Scarlett continued to kick him and I could feel the grips on my arms tightening.
I glanced over and saw Aria grinning widely as if enjoying a good show, But it was when I looked at Nessa did I feel uncomfortable. Her expression was one of worry as she bit her bottom lip, I knew there was no way she was worried for Leon's safety so it was obvious she didn't like to see such violence.
'Yea that's why…'
"Agh!" Leon's screams brought me bake as I saw my perfect fiancé stomping on his leg with a viscous grin.
'And here I thought it was impossible to love her more' My heart trembled with glee as I watched my perfect fiancé do what I had wanted for so many months.
"Do you understand it now!" Scarlett seemed to be truly angry at being called an animal and mercilessly attacked him.
"The difference between me and a weakling like you!" She lifted her leg while channeling mana making my eyes go wide.
'That attack…' I knew it from the second I saw Leon not even defending himself properly covered in blood.
'It'll kill him' Although Leon wasn't truly weak he was still nothing compared to someone like Scarlett.
'….' I could have stopped it if I wanted to and the hero should never stand down in the face of death yet I didn't move.
I watched with a racing heart feeling as if all my problems were about to end. Scarlett's foot grew closer to Leon who didn't even see the kick coming, Time seemed to stop and yet right before it could land an indifferent voice rang out in the silent training yard.
"That's enough Scarlett" Ella stepped forward putting herself between the two of them.
'Why…why did she stop it!' I felt like I had fallen off a ladder after climbing all the way to the top.
"…." Scarlett glared at Ella for a few seconds before pulling back her leg silently.
"I guess your lucky leach" She grinned down at Leon who was coughing up blood with an expression of pain and fear.
"I have duties to take care off" Scarlett walked past Ella and came toward me before giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"You like my early birthday present?" She whispered in my ear softly making my heart turn warm.
"Yes" I smiled and gave her a look of love as she pulled back with her plump lips curling upward.
"Bye Xavier" Scarlett left the training yard after causing a storm and I was left more satisfied than I ever had been.
'She knew exactly what I wanted' I couldn't take my anger out of Leon right now but that didn't mean someone else couldn't.
"Ugh" Leon's groans of pain as he sat up sounded like music to my ears and the blood dripping from his noise was very pleasant.
"Here" Yet it was short lived as Ella stood in front of him and raised one of her hands.
I frowned as she channeled mana and a golden haze surround Leon's body. His injuries disappeared with the blink of the eye leaving behind the left over blood that covered his clothing, The sight was still very pleasing to the eye.
"….." Leon didn't say anything as he slowly stood up and walked past Ella who had healed him.
He walked in the opposite direction Scarlett had left with a completely blank expression. I had never seen him make such a face before and I made me feel slightly uncomfortable. Leon didn't show a hint of reaction about what happened as he vanished from my eyesight leaving the training yard silent.
