Effect of the authority

"Well, you're feeling what you should feel," the system replied, its tone oddly amused.

Julian frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"That's the side effect of your authority," the system explained, almost teasingly.

"But I have the authority of lightning! What does that have to do with lust?" Julian shot back, genuinely perplexed.

The system chuckled lightly, "Host, the God of Thunder was also the God of Lust." 

Julian's eyes widened as he processed this revelation. "So, you're telling me I'm inheriting both powers?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"How does that happen? How can a God of Thunder also be the God of Lust?" Julian pressed, still trying to wrap his head around it.

The system replied, "I don't know, but part of the reason for the God's death was his penchant for... let's say, getting involved with other gods' wives. As a result, those gods formed a group and killed him."
