"Come on," she whispered to herself, her voice hoarse. "You've been through worse. You can do this."
She craned her neck, searching the room for anything she could use. A shard of broken glass glinted faintly in the dim light, just out of reach. Gritting her teeth, she began swinging her legs, trying to inch closer.
The effort sent fresh waves of pain through her body, but she didn't stop.

The battle between Caleb, Jack, and Aiden raged on. Caleb seemed to gain the upper hand, landing a crushing blow to Aiden's side that sent him sprawling. Jack tried to step in, but Caleb swatted him away like a fly.
"You're all weak," Caleb sneered, looming over Jack. "Just give up already."
Before he could deliver the finishing blow, a loud crack echoed through the warehouse. Caleb's body jerked forward as if struck by a hammer. He stumbled, his eyes wide with shock, before turning to see who had hit him.
