4 months later / October 5, 1943 / a training camp in the Virginia state

Nothing has happened with the system in the past, but from my perspective, everything has worked very well.

First of all, since my understanding of the general cultivation technique has reached a completely new level, I can now use the general cultivation technique much more effectively. What the general cultivation technique does is that it attracts some kind of energy into me, which is the cosmos energy or dark energy.

After this energy enters my body, a small part of it is dispersed throughout my body, a small part goes to my heart and a big part goes to my brain. I guess that it was caused by a system or a part of the brain that manages human abilities.

But my probable guess is that the system is in my brain. Because even the number of foreign languages I learned with the system reward was increasing with the general cultivation technique. I don't think my brain learned the language that people on the other side of the world speak with a little bit of energy.

There is probably a skill screen that the system hides from me, and each skill requires a certain amount of points to level up.

I've also recently begun working towards becoming an official part of the military, including becoming the founding president of an organization called Shield. At first, the senator accepted my offer without hesitation, but his face fell when I told him that I needed a level of authority that exceeded that of the federal police.

Of course, this was just a brief conversation between him and me at a party I attended. The Senator and I have become very close over the past months, especially in the past week.

After my deal with the senator, he invited me to a big party. There, after getting close to many big mafia families and rich people, I accepted the senator's drunken request and used my skills to put on a simple show.

After that, the iceberg between me and the senator quickly melted and he continued to invite me to events every chance he got.

Just last week, at a dinner we attended together, I realized that there was poison in the food and I used blue to make the senator vomit up everything in his stomach.

When the soldiers outside the door heard the sound of the senator passing out and entering the room, they immediately attacked me. Although I was a little angry at what they did, I surrendered and pretended to faint with the simple tranquilizer they gave me.

When the senator woke up and remembered what had happened, he questioned me and realized that I had saved his life.

And all these events led me to where I am now.

I went to the phone hanging on the wall of my hotel room put it to my ear and waited for the other person to speak.

"Hello? Michael?"

"Yes, it's me, senator."

"Good. Maybe Howard has already informed you. I don't know about that, but I'm calling to invite you to the first test of the super soldier project that will be the key to the new age. And you know, the man who will be America's first super soldier is Steve Rogers, who you also know."

"Howard had already told me that the experiment was happening today, but you are the first person to invite me, Mr. Senator."

"Hahaha, if it wasn't me, no one would think about you."

"Ah ah ah ha."

This guy seriously needs a sense of humor.

"So you know what I mean. Other people are still afraid of you because they think you are strong enough to kill them at any time."

I just sighed loudly on the phone while inwardly telling the senator how right he was.

"Oh just ignore them. Soon we will be mass-producing super soldiers and people like you will be walking around everywhere."

"I hope the super soldier project will be as successful as you say. That way, the land I own will not belong to the heart of America but to the heart of the world."

"Hahahaha Your dream is not far away, young man. As long as we have an army of super soldiers trained by you, we will conquer the whole world with minimal casualties and ensure that the whole world has equal access to peace and love."

The nonsense I said must have triggered something because, for the next few minutes, the senator talked and talked about the America he had seen in his wet dreams.

I placed the phone on the chandelier when I heard the beeping noise of the other party hanging up. You have to be careful with a person who is used to being respected by everyone.

I took the jacket on the bed and after taking one last look at the address written on the paper in my hand, I crushed the paper into dust and walked out of the room.

To protect myself from the light rain, I activated a much weaker version of the space that Gojo had used and walked out into the rain. Fortunately, the rain didn't speed up enough for people to notice the strangeness, on the contrary, after a short while it stopped raining altogether.

Since I already knew where the experiment was going to take place before the senator told me, I had chosen my hotel within walking distance.

As I was slowly walking down the road, a car stopped next to me. As I continued walking, assuming that the car had not specifically stopped next to me, Peggy Carter got out of the car and caught up with me with quick steps.

Peggy Carter was very angry with me for my behavior towards the other soldiers during the past time. She told me that my ego, which was deeply embedded in my heart, made me look at anyone who was afraid of me as a bunch of slaves, and that it was a shame for the country to have a person like me in the military.

After these words, I briefly wondered whether to kill her or not because all the soldiers were watching us. But after a while, I realized that I didn't feel any emotion from what she said. So I just ignored her and turned my back on her and walked away, and I caused her a lot of embarrassment.

It was strange for her to even approach me, considering that was the last time we had been together.
