Runaway(3)

Yeongsoo decided to head to the company to see Haeun directly. He tried calling Haeun repeatedly on the way, but his number was still unreachable.

When he arrived at the company, he approached the reception with a cold, impatient demeanor. Eunja looked up from her desk as he approached.

"Good afternoon," Eunja said, her tone polite but wary. "How can I help you?"

"I need to see Haeun," Yeongsoo said curtly. "Is he around?"

Eunja's smile faltered slightly. "I'm afraid Mr. Yoon isn't in the office at the moment. However, his brother Taeun is here if you'd like to speak with him."

Yeongsoo's expression hardened. "I'll speak with Taeun then."

Eunja directed him to Taeun's office. When Yeongsoo entered, Taeun looked up from his desk, having only heard Yeongsoo's name from Eunja.

Yeongsoo entered Taeun's office, and Taeun looked up from his desk with a hint of curiosity.

"Hello," Taeun greeted. "What brings you here?"

"I need to find Haeun," Yeongsoo said, his tone clipped and impatient. "Do you know where he is?"

Taeun's eyes narrowed slightly. "I don't know where my Hyung is. Are you someone important?"

"I'm his alpha," Yeongsoo replied, irritation evident in his voice.

Taeun's expression shifted, a smirk forming on his lips. "Oh, so you're the one. Hyung left because of you. He ran away to get away from the mess you made of his life."

Yeongsoo's jaw tightened. "What the hell are you talking about?"

Taeun leaned back in his chair, his demeanor dismissive. "Hyung left because of what you did to him. He's not coming back anytime soon. Stop pretending to care about him when you clearly don't."

Yeongsoo's face flushed with anger. "You have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not trying to find him because I care."

Taeun's smirk widened. "That's right if you cared, you wouldn't have pushed him away in the first place. But now that he's gone, you can't act all concerned. It's pathetic."

Yeongsoo's fists clenched at his sides. "I don't need to listen to your taunts. I'll find him, and when I do, I'll make sure he understands that no one will be able to save him from the fuckery he's in."

As Yeongsoo turned to leave, Taeun called out, his voice laced with frustration. "If you really care about my brother or have a little bit of guilt, then just leave him alone. His life is already hard enough without you adding to his problems. If you're not willing to commit, just stay away. He doesn't need people like you making his life even more difficult."

Yeongsoo stopped in his tracks, his anger flaring. He turned back to face Taeun, his eyes cold and resolute. "What happens to Haeun is now my business because we are bonded. I might not want to, but I don't have a choice. He belongs to me now."

Taeun's eyes widened slightly, but he remained defiant. "What are you going to do about it?"

Yeongsoo's gaze was unyielding. "I'm going to find him, and when I do, neither you nor your family will see him again. I'll make sure that once I have him, he won't ever return to the company or anywhere near you. You can bet on that. I'll make sure he becomes my little pet, I can raise quietly at home."

Taeun's eyes widened, this man wasn't anywhere close to normal. Why did his Hyung always get in contact with the weirdos.

As Yeongsoo left the office, his frustration mounting, Taeun's expression hardened. He knew that pushing Yeongsoo further might make things worse for Haeun. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Taeun quickly picked up his phone and dialed Haeun's number.

When Haeun answered, his voice was groggy, clearly having just woken up.

"Taeun?" Haeun asked, his tone tinged with confusion.

"Hyung, we have a problem," Taeun said urgently. "That alpha of yours, what was his name again…Cheon Yeongsoo, he came looking for you. He knows about your disappearance and he's furious. He's determined to find you and keep you with him."

Haeun's heart raced as he sat up in bed. "What? How does he know?"

"I didn't tell him where you are," Taeun said quickly. "But he's already started making threats. If you're not prepared, you might need to leave and go to another country to stay safe. You might want to be ready to move quickly."

Haeun's mind raced as he processed Taeun's words. "It's okay, he didn't harm you did he?. I'll take care of Yeongsoo, don't worry."

"Just be careful Hyung," Taeun advised. "And stay alert. It sounds like he's not planning to let up anytime soon."

"That bastard! You have nothing to worry about, I'll take care of him.."

Yeongsoo sat in a dimly lit, exclusive club, a glass of whiskey in his hand, swirling the amber liquid as he leaned back in his seat. Across from him, a man with tattoos snaking up his neck spoke in hushed tones, laying out details of their latest deal. The air was thick with smoke, the clinking of glasses, and low murmurs of conversations around them. The mood was casual, but the undertones of the meeting were anything but.

He wasn't paying much attention to the conversation, his mind elsewhere—focused on finding Haeun. His men had already given him the information he needed. It was only a matter of time before he could track him down and end this ridiculous game of hide and seek.

Yeongsoo's phone buzzed, and when he saw Haeun's name on the screen, he couldn't help but smirk. He leaned back in his seat, swirling his glass of whiskey as he took the call. His voice was laced with dark amusement as he greeted Haeun.

"Ah, Haeun… I didn't expect you'd run away from me."

The other men at the table fell silent, sensing the shift in his mood. The tension was palpable, and all eyes were on him as he continued.

Haeun's voice came through, sharp and tense. "I didn't run away from you. I needed space."

"Space?" Yeongsoo chuckled, his tone dripping with mockery. "Funny, because it looks to me like you were hiding."

"Think whatever you want," Haeun shot back, frustration clear in his voice. "I called to tell you to stop looking for me. You're wasting your time."
