Chapter 11: Trouble on the Horizon

The passing of time had brought change to their small, makeshift community nestled in the mountains. The supply depot they had stumbled upon turned out to be a goldmine. Dozens of trucks sat abandoned, loaded to the brim with food, merchandise, guns, ammunition, and all manner of supplies. It appeared that the day the world went dark, a massive delivery had been scheduled but never unloaded. Now, all of it was theirs, enough to keep the mansion and its growing population stocked for months, maybe even longer.
