Chapter 35 What a Good Student!

"Hiss..." Lucien tactically fell back, suddenly feeling Carly's figure somewhat unfamiliar.

It was as if she was enveloped in a layer of glittering light, becoming exceptionally dazzling.

After vigorously shaking his head, Lucien finally managed to dismiss these strange thoughts from his mind. However, looking at Carly, who appeared somewhat restrained at the moment, his smile became even more genial.

For the current Lucien, reverence was just as precious as a Magic Stone, if not more so.

After all, having killed Apollo, Lucien had managed to replenish some of his resources; at least he was not as desperately short on Magic Stones as before.

But after upgrading his system, Lucien now needed a substantial amount of reverence to fuel the system's identification module to accelerate his learning and progress in Pharmacy.

From that perspective, Carly herself was Lucien's most valuable productive resource at the moment, second to none.
