Chapter 77 He’s not a Simp.

After the meal, they still had to go shopping but this time it went without any unforeseen incidents.

-Why didn't you press charges?

Anna asked on their way back to the mansion.

-Because this girl was from a rich and most likely influential family the same as the guy who started trouble before.

Even if I pressed charges, at most they would get some lighter punishment and we would have become enemies with their families.

Paul explained.

-So instead you dropped the charges to give some face to their families which prevents them from having an enmity with us but with the condition you set we also don't have to worry about running into them any time soon.

That's quite clever.

Fei Fei said.

-I don't want to stir trouble while we're here, this way there will be no trouble in the future and these two will still get punished by their families so it's a win-win for us.

Paul said with a smile.

-Are you sure that their families will let it go just like that?

Irine asked.

-Don't worry, even the most unreasonable people want to keep their reputation intact.

Since I showed them a lot of face and respect by not pressing charges they wouldn't make any trouble for us or they would be seen as ungrateful by everyone in their social circle.

Paul said.

This calmed her down a lot.

After arriving at the mansion Paul allowed Irine and Natalie to live in one of the guest houses as it was more comfortable than the servant's quarters.

Both of them wanted to protest but Anna and Fei Fei managed to convince them to just shut up and go unpack.

It was already evening when they got back so Paul started to prepare supper for everyone which once again shocked the Mother and daughter pair.

-Why do you cook when you have servants?

Natalie asked curiously.

-The answer is easy because I value my life.

Paul answered jokingly.

-I heard that.

Anna shouted from the other room making them both burst into laughter.

-You see both Fei Fei and Anna can't cook so I have to do it.

Paul explained once he stopped laughing.

-I don't get it, Why do you keep slaves that can't cook and are not even good at cleaning?

The girl asked.

-They have other qualities that I value so it's not like they are useless, if you want then you can ask them about it later.

Paul said, ending the topic.

After they had their meal, Paul went to the garden to cultivate while all the ladies opted for a bath.

Since the bathhouse was so spacious they could all use it together which they did.

Natalie and Irine were a bit jealous of their two companions bodies but that couldn't be helped.

-Oh you have identical tattoos?

Natalie asked excitedly.

-I wanted one but Mom never agreed.

She said while looking at the marks.

-These are not tattoos, these are slave marks.

Anna corrected her.

-Paul doesn't like branding any more than the person who is branded so he uses magic to mark his slaves.

Fei Fei explained.

-Then the places the marks are at were chosen by him?

Irine asked curious about this.

-No, the place of the mark manifestation is random in our cases it just so happened that we got them there.

Anna said.

-If you don't mind my asking, how did the two of you become his slaves?

Natalie asked.

-I knew Paul from Earth, we attended the same elementary school back then but lost contact once he moved to China.

Then we were all transported into this world and I had a lot of trouble for a few weeks.

Paul found me when I was starving on the streets and he took me in.

I think he made me a slave just to be sure that I didn't do anything to myself because I was seriously in despair back then and even thought of ending myself.

Anna told her story not going into too many details. 

Both mother and daughter were surprised to hear what had happened to her.

-What's your story, Fei Fei?

Natalie asked.

-My story is a bit more complicated.

The woman said.

-What you see now is not my actual form but a transformation.

She started.

-Then what is your real form?

Natalie was curious.

-I'm a dragon believe it or not.

Both ladies gasped at this revelation.

-To be honest, I'm from the upper world and was forced to come down here when my clan elders cursed my bloodline and put restrictions on me which took my cultivation away and restricted my future cultivation.

-Why would your own family do that to you?

Irine asked.

-Because I became a dual cultivator and they saw it as a disgrace to our clan and race.

They didn't want to kill me but to make me suffer.

Fei Fei said without changing her happy attitude.

Both Natalie and Irina were shocked at her story.

Irina wanted to scold her daughter for her words but was stopped by Anna.

-If you asked me this a few months ago I would most likely agree with you.

Anna said sadly.

Natalie was shocked at what she heard but Anna just continued.

-I'm not that much older than you and till not long ago I also liked the bad boys.

They impressed me and I always felt so cool because I was dating them or just hanging out with them.

But what I learned once I lost everything and needed help was that the bad boys were nowhere to be found and even if they were around they just ignored me or wanted me to sleep with them to help me.

Which by the way I doubt they would do.

At most, they would have their fun and ghost me as soon as they were done.

The only one to help me and treat me with respect was Paul, the guy I never even spared a second glance at when we were at school.

-But he made you his slave.

Nataly said a bit confused.

-Only because I agreed to become his slave which was a much better option at the time than starving on the street.

But he never touched me inappropriately and never even treated me like a slave which you saw yourself today.

Both I and Fei Fei are his slaves but he never treated us like such and to be honest, if this is slavery then I do not want to be free ever again as long as he is my master.

And I'm sure that if I asked him then he would return my freedom to me without hesitation but the thing is I do not want to be free if it means leaving him.

-You fell in love with him.

Irine said quietly.

-Yes I did, and believe me, I was shocked once I discovered it.

Anna admitted without hesitation.

-But then I understood that the best man for me is not some bad boy but a caring man such as Paul, who by the way is no saint.

You really don't want to see him angry, believe me.

Anna remembered the two men he injured with his arrows when they were leaving the White Falls town.

-I believe we have already seen him angry today.

Irine said.

-That was just him being irritated, if he was truly angry then there would be two executions soon.

Fei Fei said, shaking her head.

This shocked both Irine and Natalie.

-Then what does it take to anger him?

Natalie asked.

-Let's just say that you don't want to find out.

Anna said.

Her words made both mother and daughter swallow hard.
