"What did Orion say to you about Fariy Tales?" March 7 asked, sounding curious.
Welt, who seemed to have some insight, was eager to hear from the Stelle on the Astral Express, who had a close relationship with Orion.
"Orion once told me that there was a man who gave his lover a star."
"Wow, giving a star is so romantic."
"Love...?"
Ignoring what everyone was thinking, Stelle continued.
"The man had no choice but to leave his lover due to war."
"And when his body was returned, they found a letter to her in it; he left her three fairy tales to remember him by."
"He had hidden a treasure for them to use but didn't want anyone else to get it, so he hid much of the information related to the treasure in these three fairy tales."
Welt's brown-gold eyes showed that his suspicions were correct. "Ms. Cocolia, can you show us the fairy tales left by Orion?"
After coming back from the story, Cocolia returned to her desk with a nostalgic look and opened the bottom drawer.
Three small books, already slightly yellow, were pulled out. Despite being a bit old and having marks from being handled many times, they were still well preserved.
"This is the original fairy tale left by Orion. When it was first released, I wanted to publish it in Belobog, but he stopped me and said, As long as the right people read it, that's enough. There's no need to promote it."
The three neat books were placed on the table, and their titles were:
*The Dragon Slayer Becomes the Dragon*
*Where is the Last Flower in the World*
*Looking for the Light*
Everyone read them carefully. The names were long, but the stories were simple. The first book, The Dragon Slayer Becomes the Dragon.
Tells the story of a hero on his journey to defeat the evil dragon.
The hero faced setbacks, but he eventually defeated the evil dragon and saved the kingdoms from destruction. However, without a common threat, the kingdoms grew chaotic. They fought over land and resources, and the world returned to chaos. The hero was then blamed for the chaos and disappeared mysteriously.
As the conflicts between kingdoms reached their peak, a new, more powerful evil dragon appeared, nearly destroying the world. The warring kingdoms reunited and named a new hero. Once again this new hero fought the evil dragon and won, but afterwords the dragon suddenly changed.
It turned out the new evil dragon was the original hero. After completing his mission, he lost the power he once had, and he watched as war and chaos spread through the kingdoms. He then made a surprising decision.
"If there is no common enemy, then I will become it."
When the sword was driven into the chest of the former hero, he left his final words for the new hero.
"The cycle continues."
After that, the world seemed to fall into its old patterns again. Whether it was the demon or the hero, they were just brief moments in the grand scheme. Only conflict and interest would last forever.
End of story.
"Is this really a fairy tale?" asked March 7th.
"Seven out of ten," Dan Heng said quietly.
"A novel with a touch of pessimism," Stelle commented.
"Although the hero in the story had the courage to face his fate, he didn't find a way to break the cycle. So, in the end, he both failed and succeeded.
He managed to end the chaos and create a new enemy for the nations, but the peace he created was only temporary. Eventually, when new turmoil arises, the new heroes will follow the same path," Welt gave a thorough and professional review.
The second book's style changed significantly, featuring a mix of worldweariness and inexplicable Buddhist principles.
The story follows a doctor in the apricot forest with exceptional medical skills. He has healed countless people, but he himself has an incurable disease. To find the last flower in the world that can cure him, he sets out on a journey.
Along the way, his actions moved heaven, and a real god appeared and spoke to him:
"If you can experience birth, old age, illness, and death on your journey without using your medical skills to treat them, I guarantee you will live the rest of your life in peace."
As the doctor walked the earth, he faced many temptations to use his skills. Every time he saved someone, he would lose the life that was given to him by God.
So he became a monk, gave up his medical skills, and continued to search for the legendary flower.
He traveled for a long time and finally found the flower on a high mountain called "All Living Things."
Looking back, he saw countless people following his path to this place. With everyone in the world suffering, who could save them all?
He smiled at the flower, sat in front of it, and began to use his long-forgotten medical skills to heal the world's suffering and bring clarity to its confusion.
The god returned, angry, and asked, "Why don't you cherish the life I gave you? Aren't you afraid I will take it away?"
"People are meant to die, sooner or later; it's inevitable." The doctor smiled with an enlightened expression, as if a halo shone behind him.
"But we can decide whether we want to make our journey short or long. The farther we go, the more miracles we encounter."
"You!" The god was furious and wanted to take the doctor's life. Before he could act, the doctor leaped down from the mountain.
Powerless, truly powerless. At the foot of the mountain, the god might be omnipotent, but once he started climbing, his power seemed to wane.
He wanted to vent his anger by destroying the flower this man had been searching for, only to find out that the flower never existed in the first place. Behind him, every patient he had treated had a smile on their face—a smile like that of a doctor. And that was the end of the story.
"I couldn't understand it, but it moved me," said March 7th.
"Eight out of ten," Dan Heng commented.
"..." Stelle said.
"Compared to the previous story, the author's mental journey has clearly improved. Compared to the self-defeating restraint at the start, it seems he has found his own way.
There's no doubt that from now on, Orion has found his path. If there is any information, I will probably gain a lot from this story," Welt said thoughtfully.
The third book is short and concise, with only a few numbers throughout, much like an ancient poem.
Arrogance of youth
reaches for stars in the sky—
A journey unfolds.
Worries grow with time.
Life's end is a distant wave.
walking on its crest.
Transform into sun,
blazing bright, a skyward star—
become the light above.
"..." March 7th.
"It doesn't rhyme, but I like it very much," Dan Heng said.
"..." Stelle sobbed softly.
"Blindly resist fate, accept fate calmly, and in the end..." Welt leaned his head back and sighed. "He wants to grab a hold of his own fate."
"Orion, you have grown into an amazing individual."
A sigh brought everyone back to reality. Cocolia looked at several people with mixed feelings.
At first, she hadn't taken Orion's so-called partners seriously. After all, she had been here longer and thought she understood Orion's heart better.
She had read these three books many times but still couldn't grasp Orion's true meaning. However, these so-called partners, who hadn't been with him long, had quickly uncovered Orion's hidden thoughts. She had to admit it.
"Orion, maybe he really isn't suited to stay here. The stars are his final destination."
"I think the three people who are in the story..." Stelle wiped away her tears and shared her thoughts. "Are all Orion?"
