So, he sought out the Third Hokage to discuss this matter.

The ability to foresee danger—this was a huge variable that Konoha had to consider when dealing with the Uchiha clan!

The Third Hokage's expression grew serious upon hearing Danzo's report that Uchiha Akira might possess some form of precognition.

The ability to foresee events was indeed a significant variable!

Especially with the Uchiha clan on the verge of launching a coup, this power could throw everything into disarray!

Danzo and the Third Hokage deliberated at length, eventually forming a rough plan.

"This is my decision, and I believe Uchiha Itachi knows what he's doing!" The Third Hokage looked at Danzo, his tone firm.

As Hokage, he had the authority to make decisions on his own.

Danzo could offer advice, but whether or not the Third Hokage listened was entirely up to him!

After exchanging a few more heated words, Danzo left the Hokage's office in a huff.

Meanwhile, the Third Hokage summoned Uchiha Itachi.

After waiting for about ten minutes, Uchiha Itachi appeared before the Third Hokage, kneeling on one knee.

"Itachi, on behalf of Konoha, I want to apologize to you."

The Third Hokage wore his usual kind expression, resembling a gentle, caring elder.

Uchiha Itachi looked at the Third Hokage with some confusion, not entirely sure what this sudden apology was about.

"It's about Shisui. I never expected Danzo would..." The Third Hokage began, explaining the conversation he had with Shisui and how Danzo had secretly attacked Shisui.

He assured Itachi that once the Uchiha situation was resolved, he would properly punish Danzo and give the Uchiha clan a fair explanation.

This speech left Itachi deeply moved.

"By the way, I heard that when Shisui was ambushed, you and Uchiha Akira came to his rescue. Was that a coincidence?" The Third Hokage asked casually at the end.
