"Dr. Cho, pardon my boldness, but how exactly did you cure me? This isn't something modern medicine can explain," Morbius asked, his eyes locked on Helen, utterly baffled.

"Dr. Morbius, have you ever heard of a Devil Fruit?" Helen responded after a moment's thought, her gaze meeting his.

"A Devil Fruit?" Morbius was stunned. 'What on earth was that?'

"Dr. Morbius, I didn't cure you through any medical procedure, and as I mentioned, I'm not a mutant either. The ability I used is just as extraordinary as any mutant power, but it comes from something called a 'Devil Fruit,'" Helen explained.

"It's a mystical fruit. When consumed, it grants superhuman abilities. I gained the power to heal all diseases after consuming the Heal-Heal Fruit, and that's how I could cure you." As Morbius looked at her, his eyes filled with doubt and disbelief, Helen calmly recounted the story of her astonishing encounter with the mysterious Devil Fruit.

Morbius's first reaction was sheer disbelief. 'What is this nonsense? Was Dr. Cho telling him a fairy tale? A fruit that gives superpowers? It sounded ridiculous.' And yet, Helen's miraculous method of curing him was equally beyond understanding.

For a moment, Morbius felt lost. His rational side rejected the story, but the undeniable reality of his restored health made him pause. However, instead of pressing Helen for more answers, he focused on the most urgent matter: verifying the state of his body. After thanking Helen, he left the research center and returned to his lab.

Despite all outward signs pointing to a full recovery, Morbius needed scientific proof. He was, after all, a man of science—and scientists only trust data.

"Martine! Martine!" Morbius shouted excitedly as soon as he entered his research center.

A beautiful woman in a white lab coat, holding a file, stepped out of a nearby lab. When she glanced at him, her eyes widened in disbelief. "Morbius? Oh my god, is that you?"

"What's the matter? Don't recognize me?" Morbius said, unable to hide his smirk. "Yes, it's me."

"How... how is this possible? What happened? How could you...?" Martine inspected him from head to toe, still struggling to comprehend what she was seeing. She knew full well that Morbius had been suffering from a terminal illness. How could he have returned from a trip, suddenly healthy and restored?

"I'll explain later. First, I need you to run a full examination," Morbius insisted, his excitement bubbling over.

"Okay! Okay!" Martine quickly put aside her other tasks and prepared to conduct the tests. She was just as curious as Morbius was.

Despite wishing for his recovery, her scientific mind told her it was impossible. Medical advancements hadn't reached a point where they could cure Morbius's condition. But then, the test results returned, and Martine was utterly dumbfounded.

The results showed that Morbius's blood had returned to normal without any abnormalities. Not just his blood—all his bodily functions were now within the range of a healthy individual. Morbius was no longer the critically ill genius; he was now a completely healthy man.

"How is this possible?!" Martine gasped, unable to comprehend what the data was showing.

"Martine? What do the results say? Hand them to me," Morbius asked, his voice brimming with anticipation.

Martine, still in shock, handed him the report. Morbius quickly scanned the pages, and as he read, a sense of euphoria washed over him.

He was cured. He was really, truly cured!

It was a miracle!

"Morbius, this is unbelievable! This is a miracle! How did you manage to heal yourself?" Martine asked, still unable to process what had happened.

"Actually, it wasn't me. Dr. Helen Cho cured me," Morbius said, recounting everything that had happened at Helen Cho's research center.

Martine was dumbfounded. 'A terminal illness cured by holding hands for a few minutes?' She never would have believed it if she hadn't seen the restored Morbius standing in front of her.

"Martine, tell me—do you believe in Dr. Cho's Devil Fruit?" Morbius asked, turning to his assistant.

Martine thought for a moment. "As crazy as it sounds, Morbius, I think only a story this mad can explain the madness of what happened to you."

Home of the Devil Fruits

"So, that's how it went down. That guy actually fired the shot at Vanessa, and he even knocked her to the ground," Wade said, vividly recounting the story.

"In that split second, so many things flashed through my mind. I thought about how we hadn't even made a super baby yet, how we hadn't chosen a name for the baby, how I hadn't become a movie star so our future baby could watch my films…"

"I thought about so much in that moment, and it felt like time had stopped, like my heart had stopped."

"Wade, you guys were attacked? Is Vanessa okay? Did she use the Suit-Suit Fruit to protect herself?" Rosh asked, unable to hold back his concern.

"Ah, I'm getting to that, Boss! Thank God! No, wait—thank you, Rosh, for providing such a wonderful Devil Fruit! And thank me for buying it for Vanessa! And, of course, thank Vanessa for trusting me enough to eat that weird fruit," Wade rambled on. "In short, Vanessa's fine. Her suit perfectly blocked the bullet."

"Boss, I think this epic moment needs to be written down so we can tell our future baby all about it." The shop's doorbell rang as Deadpool animatedly told Rosh about his near-death encounter.

A tall, elegantly dressed man with long hair walked into the store.
