The Gotal is a worthy first prey. They are ugly, and have interesting biology. Their cones are EM(electromagnetic Wave) detection emitted from their cone horns. They can sense mood, infrared emanations, radio waves and practically every kind of energy radiation. These cones made them good hunters themselves as they can sense if a prey is wary of their presence or not. Their cones are also unique as they also sense the energy-field of a force sensitive being. Hunting them first will provide many new tool for me. I hope to improve my bio-helmet through analyzing those horns. A force vision will hopefully be added too. Just like my xenomorph x-ray vision that's tailor made to seeing the serpents; the force vision will be tailor made to see force sensitives and even the force itself in time.
It is not long until I reach Antal 4, a planet 60% covered in water, almost as much as Earth. It did not take long because Yautja spacecraft are much more advanced. An example would be how a ship from Yautja Prime was able to reach Earth within a few hours in AVP:Reqiuem, after receiving a emergency alert. I call the engine my spacecraft uses the quantum tunnel engine or QTE for short. Of course, The ship I use is just a super-improved mothership that would be seen in the first AVP movie.
Now cloaked above Antal 4, I do a bio scan of the planet to see where the population density is. I see the settlements pop up on my green 3D holo-map. I find a somewhat small village and zoom in on it. The Gotal are peaceful anarchists, so they no government besides a judicial court to judge criminals and offworlders. Which means, a small village like this has no police. It mostly comprises of hunters using bolt rifles. I wait until night before taking a scout ship down to the surface 10 miles away from the village. I leave it cloaked as I disembark.
"What weapon should I use for this hunt?", I think about the various weapons I have amassed. I think, "Plasma cannon would be too easy. Let's go classic, collapsible hunting spear." One of my oldest and favorite weapons, it has served me well over the decades. The most I've done to change it, is reforge it with stronger self-repairing metal. "I'll have to get my hands on beskar later too.", I plan once I remember the rare metal.
Gotal hunters have no preference for night and day, but this village has few night hunters. Gotals can sense the EM field of technology, so I was going primal. No invisibility, no tech, just my spear, and classic metal alloy armor. I did bring a little toy though. As I have said before though, I'm genetically enhanced. Enhancements I continued to do on myself as I collected more genetic code throughout my old galaxy. Despite my size, I was quieter than a mouse. I moved fast, and smooth with great agility.
I found my first Gotal hunter in time. I was 500 yards away, but my improved red spectrum infrared vision could see just fine. The Gotal was on the hunt, but had no inkling he was being hunted. I creep closer from the side jumping from tree to tree in the shadows of the night.
Once I was within 50 yards, the Gotal sensed sometime and turned my way. I am impressed, "Those cones are indeed useful." I bring out my little toy. A lure that can give off an EM signature the rough strength of the prey of this world. The Gotal immediately looks towards the lure I threw. He goes after the lure, more curious about it, than me.
The Gotal comes upon the lure which is just an orb. I jump and land behind the Gotal and stick my spear through the Gotal. The Gotal soon dies and I take the body back to my scout ship for research. I then head out again to find one more Gotal to make into a trophy. I find another who has juts shot his prey and is working on tying it up. I cock back my arm while it is unaware. I throw the spear from above and the Gotal is impaled and stuck to the ground. It's body goes limp in a few seconds.
I jump down and retrieve my spear. I then reach down and stab my hand into its back, grabbing the spine. I then rip out the spine along with the skull. I let out my signature predator roar and return to my ship with my hunt complete. One for science, one for the rack.
