The reason for his behaviour

Getting in the car with the family members, Mrs. Smith drove to the primary school while explaining to Hirvan.

" Because you were absent for three weeks, I should come to your school today. So, I will let them off first, then we will go to your school."

" Okay."

Hirvan said.

" Tsk, Mommy's boy.." Sheryl's displeased voice echoed in the car.

Mrs Smith glanced at her daughter from the rearview mirror and just sighed in exhaustion.

Hirvan had grasped to some extent why the original's sister was dissatisfied with him.

Even though both of them were high school students, the original owner chose to attend a more distant private school, claiming that the public school where Sheryl attended was awful.

Hirvan guessed that the reason was likely due to either the mother's unfavourable reputation or the original owner's. Or maybe he wanted to have a chance to hang out with wealthy and privileged masters or mistresses.

Either way, the older brother had left the sister behind. Trash!

As she dropped off her two children, Mrs. Smith nervously looked at her older son.

Even though they had a good chat last night, she still was not sure about Hirvan's attitude towards her.

She squeezed the steering wheel with some force and picked up her courage.

"Hirvan, ummm….you said you'd stay with us last night. Does that mean you've no longer held a grudge?"

" Huh?"

Hirvan's mind was on the report card and how to improve those unsatisfactory results in just six months. He didn't grasp the meaning of her question after hearing it.

While driving, Mrs Smith peered at him and said.

" We hide the truth about your biological father and hurt your feelings. Four years ago, if you hadn't checked your blood type at school and knew that your blood type was different from all of us, I probably wouldn't have told you. Sometimes, being too smart was not a good thing. It was clear to you that the likelihood of B positive coming from parents with B negative and O negative was zero. And unfortunately, you still remembered your father's blood type. Ah, really, no one would have guessed that at the age of six, you would understand that and keep it in your little head."

Hirvan was silenced when he heard how the original owner discovered the truth.

'So he started to behave like that to show his disdain for his mother. Did he believe that she had cheated? Why didn't he go to his mother and confront her? What is preventing him from remembering anything about this matter? Why can you be this selective?!!!'

" umm, did we have a fight after that?"

Hirvan hesitantly inquired.

" No, you did not utter a word about it. Upon witnessing a drastic change in your behaviour, I visited your school and learned that you were in the lab testing your blood type. So I guessed you found out about it. But I was a coward, so I didn't say anything."

Hirvan found the explanation To be reasonable and nodded his head.

" Why did you not want to tell me about my biological father before? Why are we having this discussion now? You are aware that I have lost part of my memory. As you pointed out, if I had forgotten that he was Rh-negative, I would have lived my life without any suspicion."

Hirvan was curious as to the reason for that.

What led to her becoming more open about it?

' Before, she was hesitant because she was the same as me, right? The look in my son's eyes when they learned we weren't related broke my heart. If I hadn't been concerned about the danger they'd face when I was gone, I would have kept it under wraps.'

Hirvan thought to himself.

"Because I was selfish. I wanted to be a perfect mother in your eyes. Not a mistress, a vixen, or a third party who was in the middle of another's relationship. When I met your father, he had a fiance. And yet, I..."

Mrs Smith was unable to continue, feeling a lump stuck in her throat.

" But your imagination was worse than the reality. You believed that I had cheated on your stepfather, and the other guy had fled after learning about it. Before you fell down the stairs, you said to me. It wasn't your fault to think like that, your father was such a gentleman. When he learnt about my pregnancy, he begged his friend to change the date of our marriage certificate so no one could say anything about me. As a result, this misunderstanding occurred. I realised that my lack of communication had made the situation worse, and after almost losing you, I made the decision to be upfront with you."

" wait a moment, you said even though he had a fiance, he still had intercourse with you? He is the definition of a piece of shit!"

Hirvan blurted out angrily.

" Language! How could you use that word in front of me?"

" Sorry, but really, how could he? If he were faithful, even if a goddess appeared in front of him, he would resist the temptation! Not that you are not beautiful.

Ah! I really despise these fucking men who think the blame is always on the other party, not themselves who can not control their lower body. So what is the difference between humans and animals?"

Mrs Smith was startled by her son's outraged response to her words and parked the car in a hurry.

" Calm down! That was in the past. Why are you so as angry about him? Aren't you focusing on the wrong person?"

She said, attempting to appease her agitated son.

She had no idea that he would react to her past in such a way. Honestly, she felt a little happy to see her son take her side.

Hirvan was still cursing the ancestor of the scumbag.

Mrs. Smith couldn't hold back anymore and laughed out loud.

Hirvan paused in the middle of his scolding and asked with confusion.

" Why are you laughing?"

" Ah, I just felt happy! You are really like your father."

" Huh? Are you insulting me? I am similar to that jerk?"

" No, No, I meant your stepfather. He was the same when I told him the whole truth. Instead of judging me, he was busy berating your biological father!"

Hirvan didn't understand why, but hearing that brought him a small sense of joy.

" I probably will be late for the first class. Would you like to grab a coffee and talk more about it?"

Hirvan suggested after noticing the time.

" Okay."

Mrs Smith agreed, looking more energetic.

Hirvan grinned, noticing her change of demeanour.
