The team emerged from the swirling void, disoriented but alive. The damp chill of the tunnels had been replaced by the bitter wind of an open graveyard. They stood at the edge of a forgotten town, its crumbling tombstones and rusted iron gates shrouded in thick fog. Ahead, the towering silhouette of a decrepit chapel loomed over the ruins, its spire piercing the overcast sky like a warning.
“This place isn’t on any map,” Shadow muttered, scanning the area with her scope. “Looks like it hasn’t been touched in decades.”
"Or centuries," Ghost added, her voice trembling as she glanced at the twisted trees and decayed structures.
Rook took a step forward, his boots crunching on the moss-covered cobblestones. "Stay alert. Places like this don’t just appear out of nowhere. Whatever’s here—it’s tied to what we’re chasing."
