The Grey Snake

(Rhaegon's POV)

"Done." Tyene said as she walked out of the room

I raised an eyebrow, "Really?" I said, "That was fast."

We were in a safehouse in Fleabottom, Sandor had gotten it from Tyrion, who often uses it to hide out from his Sister and Father when he pisses them off.

"It's easy to seduce a man." She said with a chuckle

"Wait." I said grabbing her hand, "What?"

She raised an eyebrow, "Jealous?" She taunted

I pulled her closer to me, "You placed your hands on him in that way?" I asked, "Without my leave? How dare you?"

"I think someone is jealous..." Nymeria chuckled

Tyene kissed my nose with a smile, "I didn't fuck him, calm down." She said, "I merely promised him something he couldn't have while using my favorite truth poisons on him."

"All poison gets the truth out of them." Obara chuckled

I let her go as she immediately sat on my lap, "Don't forget your place." I told her, "What use is the agreement? You're not to mess around with any other men."

"Ah, but why do I want another man when I have you?" She chuckled, "Oh, by the way, the name of the one who hired him is Grey Snake. That's all he said?"

"The Grey Snake?" Sandor said

He was sitting on a couch on the far end of the room, drinking from his canteen.

"You know the name?" I asked

He nodded, "Aye." He said, "Some broker in the criminal underground. Those children fighting pits, he runs it."

"Children fighting pits?" Obara said, "Who does such things?"

"The Grey Snake." Sandor said, "Tyrion has apparently tried to stop those fighting rings, I should've known it was the Grey Snake."

"You know what he looks like?" I asked him

"No." He said, "Nobody does."

I sighed, "Just great."

"This Karl Tanner doesn't, either." Tyene said as she wrapped her arms around my neck, "What should I do with him? Can I kill him?"

"You've done enough killing for the week." I grumbled as I frowned, "We have to go and deal with this Grey Snake."

"Can I kill him?" Obara asked

"No." I said while rolling my eyes, "What's your obsession with killing....?"

"You're getting boring lately." Obara said

"He'll be fun later tonight." Nymeria chuckled

"I'll see you in a few hours." Sandor stood up, "I'll go ask around, see if the Grey Snake will be at a certain fighting event."

I nodded, "Okay." I said, "We stay here, I guess."

"What're you gonna do about that cunt?" He asked me

"I don't know, probably throw him to the City Watch." I said, "The Wall sounds cozy this time of the year."

"The Wall?" Tyene said, "That's very boring."

"I don't care." I said as I held her by the waist

"I'll let you idiots alone then." Sandor grumbled as he walked out of the room

Tyene raised her eyebrow, "Shall we have fun then?"

"Oh?" Obara said, "I'm down for that."

I rolled my eyes, "With a man in the other room?" I asked,

"You mad?"

*******************************************

They were mad. And I couldn't refuse them.

A few hours later, Sandor and I walked inside a building, there was a tip-off, claiming the Grey Snake was in this building.

The Girls were called by their Father to the Red Keep and they went ahead and dropped the cutthroat off to the City Watch.

It was just Sandor and I, alone.

Something was off about this whole thing. Felt....too easy.

As we walked through the halls, we reached a door and without warning, Sandor kicked the door open and burst through.

I followed him, rolling my eyes and saw that there was a man sitting behind a desk. He looked like he was in his mid-50s, had grey hair and bright blue eyes. He was just sitting there, unfazed by the fact that The Hound had kicked his door down.

"Excuse me, that door was not cheap." He said

"Don't give two fucks about your door, Snake." Sandor growled

I stepped through the doorway, "The Grey Snake, I presume." I said, "What's your deal?"

the man leaned back, "Grey Snake?" He said, "What do you mean?"

"Don't play dumb." Sandor said, "Sources claim it's you."

He shrugged, "Alright, you caught me." He said with a chuckle, "I am the Grey Snake."

"Are you?" I asked as I walked over to the desk, "You don't seem nervous."

"Why should I? You're not going to kill me." He said with a slight smirk, "In fact, I wanted you to come to me."

I frowned, "How so?"

"Who do you think gave the tip-off to Littlefinger?" He said with a chuckle, "I did, you fools."

"Who are you and what're you playing at?" I asked, "You sent to kill Tyrion Lannister? At what end?"

"The one where it'll get your attention." The Grey Snake said as he reached for the cabinet

Sandor drew his sword, "Don't make a move." He warned, "I'll cut your fucking head off."

"Take it easy, big guy." He said with a chuckle, "I won't bite."

I gestured Sandor to calm down, he lowered his sword slowly.

The Grey Snake pulled out a book and opened it, dusting off some dirt. As he flipped through some pages, he got to a specific one where a folded paper was lodged in the middle of it.

He took the paper and pulled it out, handing it to me, "Here." He said, "For you."

"What the hell is this?" I asked as I took it

"A message." He said with a slight smile, "From the Pretender."

I widened my eyes, "What?"

I opened it and read its content:

"Rhaegon Baratheon, son of Shaena Targaryen,

The Dragon's Blood is wasted on you. You deserve nothing from it. You don't deserve your Dragon. Soon, when I descend to Westeros with Fire and Blood, I will ensure that all you know is nothing but Pain and Death.

For I am from the black flames of The King Who Bore The Sword.

V. Blackfyre"

"Blackfyre...." I muttered, "The Pretender is a Blackfyre after all...."

"Indeed." He said, "I offer you a piece of information, in exchange for my head, of course. I know that I've been at the head of many criminal activities."

I looked at him, "What?"

"This Blackfyre...." He said, "He's related to the River Dragon. Also, he has a Dragon Egg. And.....get this, a Dothraki Horde."

I frowned, "The Dothraki?" I said, "They don't have ships."

"The Golden Company does." He said with a chuckle, "Soon, they'll cross the Narrow Sea and will invade. Imagine that."

I placed the letter inside my pocket.

"What do we do with this one?" Sandor asked

"I don't know, I don't care." I said, "He's not the Grey Snake."

"Just a fucking decoy."
