Chapter 442: Stay by My Side for Now

Because Joey Wong was going to attend the MTV Movie Awards, Arthur took her back to Los Angeles on a private plane.

"Graduation is the day after tomorrow, right? I'll come by tomorrow night, and then you can accompany me to Idaho," Arthur said on the phone with Kate Beckinsale in England.

At the Sun Valley Conference in Idaho, he had previously run into Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in New York, who both inquired about it.

Arthur planned to take Kate Beckinsale along to the conference, after all, she was a beautiful woman who graduated from Oxford.

"Yeah, it's getting great reviews. The box office hit $49 million in just ten days, which is even better than my earlier film, Sleepless in Seattle. It's the end of the month now, and next month MGM has another heavyweight film, GoldenEye, coming out!"

"When we were coming home just now, I saw that Universal Studios was having a premiere for a Tom Hanks film, right?"

Arthur nodded. "That's right. Universal's documentary film Apollo 13 stars two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks."

As he spoke, Arthur leaned closer to Joey Wong and slid his hand into her nightgown, touching her soft skin. "Tomorrow I'm heading to England. You can stay and enjoy Los Angeles for a few days. It's summer and there are plenty of good movies out!"

"Yeah, I know your work is important."

Joey Wong's breath quickened, and she turned to kiss him.

Before long, they returned to the bedroom. Arthur was on top of Joey Wong, their lips and tongues intertwined.

The next day, Arthur left Los Angeles and boarded the flight to London.

Kate Beckinsale was going to attend her graduation ceremony, and Arthur was eager to see it in person!

In the morning, near the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford, Arthur stood on the grass with Kate Beckinsale wearing her academic robes.

Around them were other students and family members attending the graduation, creating a lively atmosphere.

Since Kate Beckinsale's father had passed away a long time ago and her mother and stepfather were busy, they couldn't attend.

"Yeah, I was curious myself," Arthur acknowledged, feeling the intrigue of being at Oxford.

"Aren't there supposed to be more people?" Arthur scanned the area and noticed many tourists at the outskirts!

Kate Beckinsale smiled. "The theater is only so big, and Oxford's graduation ceremonies have always stuck to tradition. So it's by reservation. They hold many sessions. A lot of students who've been gone for over six months also come back for the ceremony!"

Arthur nodded. "Tonight, we should celebrate properly..."

By the afternoon, after Kate Beckinsale finished her graduation ceremony, she returned to London with Arthur.

That night, they went to a club near Kensington Gardens and partied together!

"Arthur, the Sun Valley Conference you mentioned -- it's just a retreat for a bunch of billionaires to eat, drink, and have fun, right?" Kate Beckinsale asked as she wrapped her arms around him on the dance floor.

"Pretty much. Think of it as a small gathering of billionaires. Many top executives from major companies attend to network!"

Arthur held her close. "You'll see Bill Gates, Buffett, and those guys there."

"Really? They are the richest in the world and the investment guru!" Kate Beckinsale's eyes lit up.

"That's them," Arthur said, leaning down to kiss Kate Beckinsale.

In the dim, vibrant dance floor filled with rhythmic music, Kate Beckinsale embraced Arthur and eagerly returned his kiss!

Before long, they sank into a couch. "Stay by my side and be my assistant for now?"

Kate Beckinsale nestled in Arthur's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling. "Are you not letting me be an actress anymore?"

"Of course not, I just mean stay with me for now," Arthur kissed her ear softly. "Whenever the right role comes along, you can jump back in! And besides, don't you want to stay with me right now?"

"Yeah, I'll go with your flow for now." Kate Beckinsale nestled closer to Arthur, took a sip of her drink, and then kissed him.

Until midnight, Arthur took Kate Beckinsale back to the villa in Kensington Gardens.

"I had a blast tonight," Kate Beckinsale said, slightly tipsy with a flushed face, as she hugged Arthur tightly when they stepped inside.

"Really!" Arthur kissed her deeply, reaching his hand into her robe, caressing her softness.

Leaning against the wall, Kate Beckinsale responded to Arthur's passionate kiss while eagerly shedding their clothes!

"Mm," with the last piece of lingerie removed, Arthur leaned down to kiss her chest.

The seductive Kate Beckinsale bit her lip, breathless, and wrapped her legs around him. "When are we going to the States, Arthur?"

"Next week. We'll take a private plane straight to the Sun Valley ranch in Idaho!" Arthur caressed her thigh.

"Ah, great!" Kate Beckinsale tightened her grip around Arthur.

After a while, Kate Beckinsale exclaimed and sank to the floor.

"Ah," Arthur took a deep breath, unable to control himself as he ran his fingers through Kate Beckinsale's hair.

"Sweetheart, you're amazing!" Arthur helped Kate Beckinsale sit on the sofa. "You can rest for the next few days."

Kate Beckinsale leaned against the sofa, gazing at Arthur with weary eyes, resting in his embrace.

"I don't want to move at all right now."

"Well, let's take a shower first and then get some sleep!"
