The intensity of the match continued to build. Bayern began to find their rhythm again, using their speed and technical ability to create chances. In the 38th minute, they came close to equalizing. A well-worked move down the left flank saw the ball crossed into the box. Daniel Wein rose highest showing his aerial prowess, directing a powerful header towards goal.
