Chapter 34 : World Destroyer!!

"Meat! Sanji, I'm so hungry! I want to eat meat!"

Luffy, who had just woken up, was still a bit groggy and shouted with his hands in the air.

Seeing this, Buggy said to Ivankov, who was still somewhat stunned, "Alright, he's fine!"

With Luffy's peculiar constitution, as long as he wants to eat, he's usually alright.

Luffy cried out a few more times but didn't get the familiar response he expected. As his mind cleared, he started remembering his current predicament.

Before Luffy could process everything, he heard Buggy's voice and turned towards it in surprise.

Hearing the words "Red Nose," Buggy instinctively landed a punch on Luffy's head, making him yelp in pain.

"If you call me Red Nose again, I'll break your leg!" Buggy threatened.

Luffy, holding the swollen bump on his head, looked at Buggy in disbelief and said, "Why does your punch feel just like my grandfather's?"

Ivankov intervened at the right moment, "Straw Hat boy, let me introduce myself. I'm Ivankov, a revolutionary and an ally of your father, Dragon! This is my right hand man, Inazuma!"

Inazuma nodded at Luffy as well.

Luffy, a bit puzzled, asked, "So, my father asked you to save me?"

Ivankov shook his head and said, "No, Dragon doesn't know what's happening here. I just agreed to break out with Buggy Boy, and I happened to find you, so I decided to help you escape as well."

Buggy didn't linger and left without looking back.

Buggy didn't say anything more upon hearing this. He turned around and walked towards Mr. 3, who had just been freed from his petrified state, intending to release the remaining prisoners with him.

Luffy, still confused, stretched out his arm to grab Buggy and asked, "Wait! What's going on here? Why are you here?"

Buggy reluctantly stopped, shook off Luffy's hand, and pointed at Ivankov. "As you can see, we're planning to escape from prison. You can ask him about the details!"

Luffy nodded thoughtfully, then suddenly remembered something and asked, "Wait! How long have I been unconscious? What time is it? Has Ace's public execution started?"

From Luffy's urgency, it was clear that if he knew Ace's public execution was today, he would rush to the Navy Headquarters without hesitation!

Ignoring Luffy, Buggy then addressed Ivankov, "I'll leave him to you. Get ready, it's almost time to start!"

Inazuma took out a Den Den Mushi and said, "I'll contact our people in the park and get things ready."

Ivankov hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to reveal the truth or not.

Will they go along with it or not?

Their status as the Revolutionary Army made them ill-suited for such a public spectacle!

Moreover, Ivankov had been out of touch with the outside world for a long time and was unaware of the current situation and Dragon's plans.

If their reckless actions drew the attention of the Navy Headquarters and the World Government, disrupting the Revolutionary Army's plans, Ivankov wouldn't be able to atone for his mistakes!

But if they didn't follow through and something happened to Luffy, he wouldn't be able to face Dragon!

Unfortunately, he couldn't contact Dragon right now, otherwise, he wouldn't be so conflicted!

Seeing Ivankov's hesitation, Luffy pleaded urgently, "Please, Ivankov! This is very important to me! Ace is my only brother!"

Hearing this, Ivankov exclaimed, "What? Isn't Sabo still around?"

Luffy was momentarily taken aback. "How do you know about Sabo?" he asked, bewildered. "Sabo died years ago! I can't afford to lose Ace too!"

Luffy's gaze turned to Ivankov, his eyes full of doubt.

Ivankov took a moment to think, then replied honestly, "You arrived here two days ago. According to the timing, today is the day Ace is scheduled to be publicly executed!"

"Today?!" Luffy panicked. "No, I have to save Ace! Little Ivan, how do I get to the Navy Headquarters?"

Ivankov shook his head and advised, "Straw Hat, the Navy Headquarters is too dangerous! I'm sure you understand that."

"So let's leave saving Ace to the Whitebeard Pirates! With Whitebeard's strength, he won't let anything happen to Ace!"

"Absolutely not!" Luffy shook his head resolutely. "Whitebeard is Whitebeard, and I'm me! No matter what Whitebeard does, I have to save Ace!"

Ivankov could see the determination in Luffy's eyes, and he felt torn. "Luffy, are you sure about this?"

At that moment, Boa Hancock ran over, looking at Luffy with concern.

Luffy, surprised to see Boa Hancock, said, "Hancock, I'm so relieved you're okay!"

Luffy felt a pang of guilt from when he had been captured with Hancock at the Navy Headquarters before, but now he was reassured to see her safe.

'Oh~~, he's worried about me again,' Hancock thought, her face flushing with warmth.

Ignoring Hancock's reaction after confirming she was alright, Luffy turned back to Ivankov and pleaded, "Little Ivan, please! Tell me how I can get to the Navy Headquarters!"

"Please?! How dare you make Luffy beg!" Hancock's demeanor shifted dramatically, and her gaze toward Ivankov became fiercely unkind.

Ivankov thought for a moment, then sighed and said, "Straw Hat, most of the people here are heading to the Navy Headquarters. If you want to join them, you should go with them!"

Luffy's eyes lit up, and he exclaimed, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Ivankov shook his head and pointed to Buggy, who was in the process of freeing a prisoner. "Wait for him. He's in charge here right now!"

At that moment, Buggy and Mr. 3 arrived at the last cell on the sixth basement level.

This cell was quite different from the others. It resembled an oversized refrigerator more than a typical prison cell!

Mr. 3 looked puzzled and asked, "Why is there a refrigerator here?"

Buggy's eyes shifted as he explained, "This isn't a refrigerator; it's a prison cell!"

Mr. 3 was even more confused and inquired, "Why is the cell designed this way? Who's being held here?"

Buggy unlocked the door with a key, opened the 'refrigerator' door, and said, "World Destroyer, Byrnndi World!"
