"Why do I need to memorize how to create a magic circle?" Orion asked Evelyn and she smiled.

Then she sat beside him to explain. "You see sweetie, magic circles and magic spells are connected. When chanting a spell, a magic circle could serve as a focal point for mana, which can be used to amplify, direct, and control the mana used for such a spell. Let me show you," Evelyn positioned herself before Orion.

She aimed her palm towards his face and muttered a spell "Aero, lenis, fluo."

She had just chanted a tier one wind magic spell called, 'Breeze'.

A small magic circle appeared in front of her palm, and a cool, gentle breeze blew out of the circle to caress Orion's face.

"Do you understand now?"

"Yes, I do."

Orion was able to understand what Evelyn was talking about.

When Evelyn chanted the spell, the mana flowing within her body moved straight to her palm before passing through the magic circle.
