"He likes Bella? He could barely stand being on the other side of a classroom last time they met," Alex said as he shook his head at Alice.

"He had other problems that day. It wasn't Bella who he couldn't stand," Alice said as a mischievous grin took her face.

"What are you saying that he was disgusted with me?" Alex asked as he turned to face the short pixie.

Alice just made a thinking pose and then said with a cheery tone as if she had found the answer.

"Who knows? I can't read his mind, you know?" Alice said, looking like she had found the correct answer, and nodded to herself.

Alex looked at her for a moment as he thought in his head.

'Well, you can't, but Edythe and Edward can read minds, ' Alex thought until he had a sudden idea.

'It's perfect, absolutely amazing,' Alex thought as a slight grin took over his face.

"Well, if you guys don't mind, then I'm going to be eating my food. I skipped breakfast, so I don't want to miss lunch as well," Alex said as he started eating, or at least forced himself to, as when he looked at the food, it looked more like a slimy monster rather than actual food.

'Now, how do I make it so that I release my thoughts for Edward and Edythe to be able to hear, I'll just think of releasing it for now and see if they react to it somehow,' Alex thought as he got ready to start.

'Now,' Alex thought as he pushed with his mind to break the seal surrounding it. Alex heard, or at least felt like he heard a lock open.

And then Alex's plan started. As he ate, he thought of the most degenerate ways he could torture Edward, of the most horrifying torture methods known to mankind.

From the corner of his eye, he saw both Edythe and Edward freeze. Edward even stopped talking to Bella for a few seconds and then continued his conversation.

'Lock,' Alex thought as he pushed his thoughts, trying to seal his mind again.

*Clank*

An imaginary sound fell into Alex's eyes as he felt the seal close up on his mind once more.

When he saw Edward and Edythe freeze for the second time, Edythe turned to look at him, her expression much more serious than before.

She didn't say any words, however, and turned back to her normal self soon after as she played with her food and joked with Emmet.

"How can you even eat that? Isn't it disgusting?" Jasper said as he looked at Alex, who was currently about to plunge another spoonful of the monstrous slime into his mouth.

Stopping right before the monster could enter his mouth, Alex brought the spoon back down and nodded at Jasper.

"Yeah, I really should just wait until I get back home to eat something else. This stuff tastes so bad that I might actually get sick from eating it," Alex said as he pushed his food tray a bit further away from him.

"So what do you guys do in your free time? I know Emmet plays video games, but he said that you guys don't really entertain him in playing those." Alex said as he turned to look at them.

Cold as ever, Rosalie still didn't even sign him with her gaze, not to mention answering his question.

Jasper opened his mouth first as he replied.

"Well, I'm into old literature, and I like to read to pass the time. I do go to the cinema to watch a movie once in a while, though," Jasper said as he spun a small fork in his hand.

"Old literature? My sister likes reading old books as well, and she also listens to old classical music, though I don't really know what books she reads or who she listens to as I don't really like classical stuff much," Alex said as he nodded towards Jasper.

And then he heard a loud voice next to him.

"You already know I like video games. Besides that, I spend most of my time in the gym, and I have to maintain these muscles somehow, you know?" Emmet said, his voice loud as ever.

"Can you like not to shout into our ears constantly, Emmet? We can hear you all, right?" Alex said as he held his ear. It almost felt like his eardrum had exploded.

'I already have increased hearing, I don't need you to scream into my ear, god damn it.' Alex thought, and then he heard Alice finally speak up.

"Yeah, sorry about Emmet. He does that quite a lot, though he doesn't really mean it in a way to annoy you; it's just how he is," Alice said as she patted Alex's head.

Alex opened his eyes wide as he turned to look at her.

"Do I look like some kind of crying puppy to you, Alice?" Alex asked, his voice hinting at his confusion about her actions.

Alice simply nodded and made a 'mhm' sound as she removed her hand.

"What do you mean 'mhm' Alice, huh?" Alex asked as he faced her. Though he acted like he was annoyed, it was clear from his voice that he was only joking around.

"Well, in response to your earlier question, I like to go shopping. I'm super into fashion and clothes, and I also pain when I want to clear my mind or pass the time," Alice said as she turned to face Alex. She then made a thinking pose as she mumbled out loud intentionally.

"Should I buy a dog leash?" Alice mumbled as she seemed to think about it.

"Hey, come on, that's a little too far, isn't it?" Alex said, feeling like his freedom was being challenged.

The dog leash thing is just a joke. I'm sure some people will get annoyed at it, but it's a joke. MC will never be someone who would become a dog for someone else, so don't kill me in the comments.
