An Accident

Fortunately, Selene's reflexes kicked in, allowing her to avoid hitting her head on the ground. However, she paid the price with a twisted ankle, a sacrifice for her safety.

Everyone gasped in shock while Selene gritted her teeth together, as she tried to suppress the pain that shot up from her leg. 

Immediately, everyone gathered to help her out. She was taken to the medical bay and a doctor in charge attended to her as quickly as possible. 

"She's so weak," the director spouted in a low volume so that people around wouldn't hear him. 

He feigned concern by instructing the doctor to provide proper care for Selene and ensure she was treated well.

Due to the accident, the scene couldn't continue until further notice. Everyone packed up and left. 

Meanwhile, Kael couldn't help but feel a pang of pity for Selene. Despite her efforts to avoid a hard fall, she still ended up with a broken ankle, all because the stunt harness had failed.
