Ch - 42 First and Third?

After safely retreating, they arrived at S.T.A.R. Labs, where they discussed what to do about General Eiling. While they tried to devise a plan, Harrison Wells informed everyone that he had to go somewhere. Despite their concerns that General Eiling was desperately searching for Ms. Sans Souci and could threaten or pressure him, Wells assured them that Eiling wouldn't harm a handicapped person. Cisco even suggested accompanying him, but Wells declined.

Swayam was puzzled about what Eobard Thawne was planning. Soon enough, he got his answer—not from Thawne, but from a TV reporter.

Harrison Wells left S.T.A.R. Labs for an hour, and approximately 20 minutes after his return, Cisco received some information and turned on the TV. The broadcast reported the sudden death of General Wade Eiling from a heart attack. Swayam immediately suspected that Eobard Thawne had something to do with Eiling's death.

Though Swayam realized this, he chose not to antagonize Eobard Thawne over someone like General Eiling. Despite his boldness and eagerness to help, he wasn't foolish enough to provoke Thawne unnecessarily.

Cisco, upon seeing the news, excitedly told Ms. Sans Souci, "Now you don't have to be scared of General Eiling coming after you, Ms. Souci."

Barry reprimanded Cisco, "Cisco, that's not good behavior. Although General Eiling was kind of a douchebag, that doesn't mean we should be excited about his death."

Swayam added, "Barry is right, Cisco. Even if General Eiling is no more, that doesn't mean the other military personnel won't be after Ms. Sans Souci. To them, she is a significant asset."

Caitlin agreed, "You're right, Sam. And if General Eiling's passing doesn't change Ms. Sans Souci's situation, what should we do to remove the military's interest in her?"

Harrison Wells, who had just complicated the situation by murdering General Eiling, suggested a solution, "There are a few ways to tackle this situation. First, Ms. Souci could surrender while hiding the fact that she can now control her metahuman ability, pretending she doesn't have it anymore. Second, we could make them believe Ms. Sans Souci is dead, but this would mean she could never meet her friends or family again and must stay out of the public eye. Third, I have contacts in the military who, for a reasonable price, can help stop her chase and even close her file permanently."

After he laid out the options, everyone looked to Ms. Sans Souci for her decision. After a moment of thought, she asked, "Can't we do both the first and third?"

Everyone turned to Harrison Wells, waiting for his response. After a brief pause, he said, "Indeed, we can do that, but it would take more time than expected. Although you can control your metahuman ability, convincing the military won't be easy."

Barry spoke up, "I agree with Ms. Sans Souci. The first and third options are the most optimal. And since you have contacts in the military, it shouldn't take forever to persuade them."

In the end, they agreed that Harrison Wells should get in touch with his military contacts to help Ms. Sans Souci. While it might take some time, it would ultimately mean she wouldn't have to worry about being on the run in the future.
