SOME OF HANEUL'S WORRIES

THE one thing Haneul was most worried about in joining Boys Odyssey was his dance skills, or the lack thereof. It was not an exaggeration to say that his dance skills were practically nonexistent.

He never received proper training, unlike most participants who would officially join Boys Odyssey. Consequently, he never learned how to dance—lacking even the most basic knowledge. When it came to dancing, he was essentially a blank canvas. If he didn't want to get eliminated in the first round, he should at least learn the basics now.

Boys Odyssey would officially start filming around late May or June, which was still a good three to four weeks away. He should spend his free time learning and practicing how to dance during that period.

In the off chance that he didn't pass the audition, the things that he had learned in that period would still not go to waste. Because it's not like he would just give up just because he failed once. He already experienced too many failures that one more wouldn't really dampen his determination to succeed. It would simply mean he had more time to hone his skills before trying again.

Anyway, when Haneul casually mentioned to Robin that he was looking for a dance studio, Robin asked if he could join him. He, too, was searching for a proper place to practice dance while awaiting the audition results. With no reason to refuse, Haneul agreed. Besides, he felt like it would be much more fun if Robin were with him.

And with that, he proceeded to look for a place that would fit his needs.

Haneul was searching for a dance studio that offered a welcoming environment for beginners, as he had no prior formal training in dance. He wanted a studio with experienced instructors who were patient and adept at teaching foundational skills in various dance styles.

Understanding his limited availability due to school commitments, Haneul prioritized studios that offered flexible class schedules, ideally with options for evening classes on weekdays and extended hours on weekends. Additionally, he was determined to find a studio that provided a structured curriculum, allowing him to progress steadily over a short period of time.

But Haneul remained mindful of his budget limitations as a high school student. Although his parents were very supportive of his decision to pursue his dream, it didn't mean that he would take advantage of their generosity. He preferred studios that offered reasonable pricing or introductory packages that fit within his current budget. He wanted a place that had a balance between quality instruction and affordability.

As one could see, with so many requirements, finding the right studio was no easy task. Fortunately, the internet came in handy at times like these. After thorough searching, he managed to narrow down his options to three studios, all conveniently located in the same area—Gangnam.

So now, Haneul was on his way there to meet Robin.

***

Haneul got off the bus when it stopped at COEX Mall. He fixed the mask he's wearing to make sure it's not slipping down. Although he said he would try to get used to... things, the school and the streets were two completely different environments.

School was still relatively safe, a good place where he could practice getting used to Yeomra's 'gift'. But the streets were a different matter altogether. Again, not to sound like a total narcissist, a lot of things could happen, dangerous things, to someone who looked like him if he's not careful. Especially with his identity as an Omega. Specifically, a newly manifested Omega.

Even though he's recessive, he still was having trouble controlling his pheromones. If not for the medicinal perfume he's pouring on himself every morning, any Alpha or Omega could definitely smell him. Along the same line, it would also be easy for him to be affected by other's pheromones.

This was why Haneul had been avoiding public spaces that weren't controlled environments, like the streets, for example. It's different from a school or an audition site where there were authoritative figures who could easily control unexpected situations.

Because there's a chance that some crazy Alpha could release their pheromones in public, and then he would end up losing consciousness. Or worse, he might be forced to have his heat a little earlier than expected.

Not that he had been in any other public spaces since arriving in this world, for that matter.

Haneul looked around to see if Robin was nearby. The two of them had decided to meet here at COEX Mall. He didn't see the other anywhere. With Robin's tall frame and bright pink hair, it would be easy to spot him. The fact that he couldn't mean that the other probably still wasn't here.

As if on cue, he received a KakaoTalk message from Robin.

[Robin (wannabeidol)]: Haneul, sorry, I think I'm going to be late! I accidentally missed my stop while riding the subway. TT^TT

Reading that, Haneul chuckled a bit. Somehow, that seemed so Robin-like.

[Haneul (sky410)]: It's okay. Just send me a message once you're near. ^^
