is it wrong to be reincarnated into a world with a dungeon?

Flashing lights. That's all I could currently see. I'm not even sure if see is the right word. It's like I feel the light or taste it. I feel like I'm feeling everything.

'Oh', I thought? I'm not sure. The white lights turned into a kaleidoscope of colors and along with it came new sensations. The colors seemed to converge towards the middle of my sight, it formed some sort of circle.

Even more colors bled into the circle and I saw some strange writing on the wheel. I couldn't really make it out. Suddenly something popped out Infront of the wheel.

[£&±№] [ẞÚÆ√]

Infront of the wheel those symbols seemingly floated. They occasionally made a beeping noise. Something urged me to focus on one of them, specifically the one on the right.

BEEP

as I focused it glew green and winked out of existence, as soon as that sequence of events ended the wheel started spinning.

The first time it spun it stopped on something I couldn't read. The wheel made someechanical noise and all of a sudden the symbols turned into coherent words. The wheel landed on

[Universal language comprehension]

[Spin again] [Don't spin again]

Where the prompt first had been strange symbols this time when it reappeared it asked me to spin again. I wasn't sure if I was going to lose the language comprehension skill or not yet I still decided to spin again.

I focused on the left option and it winked out of existence once again. The wheel burst into impossible colors and the symbols changed as it spun again

It spun making a creaking noise until it stopped and the mechanical whirring came back, this time it landed on

That looked like it was good. I'm not sure what a re:zero is but I have knowledge of what a skill tree is, though I'm not sure where from. I seem to have some sort of haze over my memories.

Of course I chose to spin again as there seemed to be no downside. I wasn't sure until now but it seemed like I was going through some sort of reincarnation cycle, I remember seeing this or something similar before but once again, I can't remember.

The wheel whirred and creaked for one last time as it ended up bursting into a yellow color as it landed on:

And with that I felt nothing as all the colors I had seen once before went directly into what I assumed to be my soul.

I woke up in some sort of void somewhere, I could see darkness in every direction except one, right Infront of me. If I looked hard enough it seemed to be a cog and when I focused on it some sort of menu opened Infront of my eyes

[System Interface]

Greetings user. I am one of the standard issue systems across the star stream (the multiverse) and I will be assisting you in your life from now on. I am inclined to tell you that the information in this system is not infinite nor is the system omnipotent in it's knowledge. The way the system will work is that it will store every bit of knowledge you have and gain, and it shall use it to form logical conclusions and such. For example; if you see an apple for the first time and know it's a fruit, when you see an orange for the first time the system will open a transparent window next to the orange telling you it's a fruit.

The system will also monitor your vitals and statistics and compare them with the statistics of nearby beings telling you your strength in comparison to them. It will also take in knowledge cues to form logical conclusions. For example; if you see a brightly colored frog, the system will open a window next to it and tell you it's a frog and that it might by poisonous due to it being brightly colored.

The user appears to have been blessed by the entity of the name 'nameless deity', currently unknown what this blessing entails.

Magic (mag) can be unlocked later on in your life through the skill tree. The skill tree uses skill points. New skills cannot be unlocked via the skill tree but skills which the user already has can be expanded and improved due to the skill tree. The acquisition of skills will correspond to he world you end up in.

That is the basic rundown of the system. After you finish creating your character, you will be spawned into the world.

''well that was one giant information dump", I said to myself. I had a body now though it just looked like a blank slate currently. The system was a bit disappointing and it didn't delve into anything about the re:zero skillset. Oh well, you take what you can get.

There was one upside to all of this, I can apparently create a body to use in my new life. I looked down and the previous words of the system flew out of sight of the system window as I saw a [character creation] option. As I focused on it a new menu opened up with all of the options you'd get in a standard character creation menu like height, hair, hair color, eye color, eye type but what seemed to catch my attention was race. I would have though that it would just be skin color but there was a different option for that, when I focused on race a drop-down menu appeared with options which seemed like species. The options I see are:

1. Humans

2. Elves

3. Dwarves

4. Beastmen

5. High Elf

6. Renard

7. Half-Elves

8. Pallum

9. Amazoness

10. Chienthrope

11. Werewolf

I had a slight idea about some of the races like werewolf, dwarves and elves but no idea about what a chienthrope or pallum is.

They all sounded intimidating and I couldn't go wrong with human since that is what I was in my past life even if I don't remember it. I really had no idea what to choose.

I hovered over each rave one by one and found some characteristics about them that couldn't be removed or hanged like how werewolves had animal ears and that amazonesses could only be female.

Everytime I hovered over a race the system seemed to intake the information and it gave out the benefits and non benefits of the race. It looked like the system could even see inside of the bodies of the template races which I didn't question as the system had stayed before that it could keep track of my vitals and statistics and compare it to others without having knowledge of them.

Unsure of what to pick I decided to ask the system. As soon as I thought to ask the system a new window appeared with 5 bars below the words [Ask away!]. The bars seemed wovvle everytime I made a noise. So I asked, "which race do you think I should go for system?". After saying this the 5 bars coalesced into a wheel which spun every other second. After around 10 seconds the window started to spew out text which read;

[With the knowledge of each race I have collected I have deemed human to be the weakest race as they have no innate magic so that race is out unless you wish to choose it for nostalgia, I wouldn't reccomend going for werewolf as their brain composition indicates that their instincts and emotions usually overpower their decision making capabilities. Pallums are not a good pick either as they seem to just be slightly smarter humans which are naturally very short in height which would impair you in physical combat. There are many other races which I would personally not reccomend. Instead of telling you about them I will list 3 of the best ones.

Elf, renard or amazoness. Elven ears seem to have a specific purpose to attract something directly into their brain presumably mana. Elves also seem to be physically sensitive to touch and their pain receptors seem to be amplified as well. Amazonesses are humanlike and boast great physical strength and their only downside being that they are slightly more lustful than normal humans. Renard seem to be some sort of beast humans which boast enhanced senses, higher agility and and strength, which is less than the amazoness but more than the elves]

I personally want to be a male in this life as I'm sure I was one in my past life as well so amazoness was out. Elves seemed like a good pick but their physical weakness was a bit of a deal breaker for me, I also didn't wanna feel extra pain either. So that left me with renard. So I picked renard and got to making my new body.
