Pair of Tigresses

While Matteo waited outside, Amelia quickly went to get herself checked up by a doctor. Matteo wasn't going to take any chances with Amelia's health, especially in her sensitive condition. What happened to Emmeline could well happen to Amelia, if she were not careful.

Thankfully, the doctor who examined her said that everything was fine, but she should refrain from feeling stressed. When Amelia heard it, she wanted to snort.

Well, if she got proof of Emmeline's lies, she would not feel stressed. 

With that in mind, she went back to the emergency room, where Matteo was still sitting with a blank look on his face. He stood up when he saw her, frantic.

"Amelia! How are things? What did the doctor say?" 

"Only for me to be less stressed," Amelia said dryly.
