Cheol blinked and looked at me with his compelling eyes. “You know what will happen if I do that now, Stella. You’d be naked in a second. God help me, I’m saving my sanity here.”

I went to bed, still thinking of Cheol. I have to think first about the decision I was going to make. I have to talk to Tyler first.

Coco slept with me on the bed. He was at my foot, sleeping peacefully while I was still wide awake until I heard Cheol’s footsteps outside of the room followed by the rattling of the doorknob.

I froze for a moment and waited for the door to burst open but I realized I locked it. I was about to get up and unlock it but I heard him leave and enter his bedroom.

I sighed and went back to the bed, forcing myself to sleep.
